Arrival Story: When my beloved dog died last year, I knew that I wanted another pet, but not necessarily another dog, since the memory of Blackie was too fresh. After months of waiting, and a move into a new house, we finally decided go out and get some cats. I wanted two cats, kittens really, because they could keep each other company during the day, and there would always be a pet around. I spotted Inez and Daisy at the Humane Society, and they came home with me that day.

Bio: Inez and her sister Daisy were dropped off at the Humane Society a few days after Christmas. I was very fortunate to be able to adopt them, since they were both very cute in their cage. Both Daisy and Inez devoloped upper respiratory infections once home, and were so miserable. They did get better though, and are now very active and social. Inez is a very mellow cat, she takes it easy most of the time, unlike Daisy, who is more catlike and curious. Inez loves playing with bits of string and mostly watches you do things, rather than doing them herself. She's usually the follower to Daisy's leadership, but ever so often, she'll bust out and play a bit by herself. But she's not all over the place or anything. She's a very cool cat, not nervous in the least. When I went to get them at the Humane Society, Inez was asleep in the cage, and Daisy was pacing back and forth, staring and meowing at me. Inez is very vocal when her food dish is empty though- she won't stop meowing, until I fill it back up! Inez has also slept on my pillow at night ever since since she arrived home back in January. She's getting bigger, so now she sleeps mostly on my head.

Inez,
You are one half of the most precious things I have had the joy in welcoming into my life. I wanted you more than anything even before you arrived- you were just an idea planted into my head that wouldn't leave. I can't thank you enough for you- your furiness, your incessant bites in the morning, and just for making me so very happy. I could snuggle you all day long (even though I know you'd get tired of it sooner or later). This is a special Tail of Devotion
