Quick Bio:
-pound cat-cat rescue

Coloration:
Calico

Likes:
Fafur & to help Meowmie when vacuuming

Pet-Peeves:
Taffy did not care for the other cats or anyone petting her without her approval. Except her daddy of course, she sure loved him!

Favorite Toy:
Taffy didn't play much, she actually would get really MAD at the toys if you tried to play sometime. She did like if you just dropped a fuzz or small piece of something in front of her to bat around

Favorite Nap Spot:
She liked to sleep behind the VCR/DVD player in the TV stand her Fafur built. We have her urn with her ashes near that spot now.

Favorite Food:
She loved her dry Nutro food

Skills:
Taffy had a mean right hook. She probably could have been a boxer.

Arrival Story:
I saw Taffy at a Rescue group in one of the PetsMart stores when we lived in Phoenix in 2000. I fell love with how pretty her coloring was and how silly her blue crossed eyes were. My husband let me adopt her, she was my birthday present from him that year since he had recently had surgery and could not get out of the house. He said go ahead and get her when he heard how determined I was to adopt her. We were lucky to share 5-1/2 years with our Taffy. In October of 2005 she fell sick suddenly. The doctors treated her for a virus for a couple of days, but she got worse. They thought it may be cancer but were not 100% sure. We opted for exploratory surgery, I could not put her down without knowing if she could be cured or not! We said good-bye to our precious, kissed her, let her know how much we loved her and what a brave girl she was. Just in case we were not to see our beloved Taffy again. And that sadly was the case. During the exploratory surgery, they found Intestinal Lymphoma cancer in Taffy. They let her go peacefully while still under anesthetic. We miss her terribly, our little Taffers.
