Arrival Story:
When my feral cats still lived behind the grocery store I showed up to feed them and heard a cat crying. I saw all three "regulars" and it wasn't them. I called out and a cat came out from a ravine nearby walking quickly toward me and sat at my feet, "mee-owww" it cried. I was so surprised, and said to him "You're not feral!" and picked him up. He immediately put both paws around my neck and held on as if for dear life. At that time, my feral friends would have made mincemeat of him. New at the feral cat thing, I was told by my mentor that often people drop unwanted pet cats off where they see colonies congregate thinking someone will care for them. He stole my heart and I couldn't part with him.

Bio:
He got his name because he is dark and has beady eyes.
