Chasing Butterflys at the Rainbow Bridge

Meows to all my friends on Earth. I would like to thank every one of you for your special gifts and so appreciated support to me and my Meowmy when I crossed to the Rainbow Bridge.

It was hard for a while and neither Meowmy or I could read the Gifts without crying. But knowing how much you all cared and were there for us, made it a little easier.

Thank you so much to Autumn - who had my wings ready as soon as I got done meeting God! WOW! I was flying within a half an hour - although I did crash a few times!

My very very special friend Tyler - Mr Bombastic wrote this poem for me - and I am so honored to share it with you all. We can't thank you enough!

I have a sweet and gentle friend,
The Bandit is his name,
But on any other given day
He goes by Jesse James

Now Jesse lives with angel souls
And comes and goes with ease,
Once more he is whole again
On perfectly good knees

We know God loved him very much
Because he gave him wings,
And now he flies around the earth
Patrolling all his things

He gazes down upon his yard
Upon the ferals’ games,
They know he’s looking out for them,
The one called Jesse James

He swoops down to his family
And whispers in their ear
“Keep the yard perimeter safe
For all whom I hold dear.

And make sure any prairie dogs
That come into your life,
Get lots of love and other stuff
As if I was midwife!”

So Jesse’s legacy is love,
And all who here remain
Remember this sweet gentleman,
That was our Jesse James

And as my bones with age begin
To creak and cause me pain,
I trust I’ll hold my head up high,
Just like Jesse James

Tyler is not feeling well himself, and I have been flying by and making sure they take extra special care of him. Tyler kept giggling when his Doctor kept
brushing his shoulder. He could see me sitting on the Doc's shoulder keeping a close eye on things. The Doc could not!

Life is wonderful as an Angel. I am young again, and I love to fly! I have so many friends and relatives here! My doggys - Muffie & Barney, my kittys siblings Cinderella, Miss Ghost, Willifur, Sassafrass, Conan the Bavarian, my guinea pigs Scooter, Angel, Cinnamon, Butterscotch, Herbie, Wilbur and Patches, my hamsters Cisco, Dakota, Snowflake and my mouse Stewie Littlefoot. Even my ground squirrels George, Scoutie & Ranger are here with me.

I was a lucky kitty because I grew up with a huge family and a whole lot of love. My job as an Angel is to make sure other kittys have the same.

**Special Delivery from Heaven**

Meowlo My Very Special Friends,

Mom took me to the Cat Clinic this morning, because I have really been feeling lousy lately. My kitty dementia has been getting worse and worse, and I have problems walking. My back left leg has a joint problem that will just get worse, and one day very soon I will not be able to get back up.

I've barely been nibbling lately - so little that there was nothing coming back out.

Mom and the Doc spent a lot of time talking about me and petting me - and they agreed that my Quality of Life was pretty bad, and getting worse every day.

The Doc and Mom took me in the back room, and the Doc shaved my leg to look at my veins. They were really bad - so even if I needed a catheter - they couldn't give me one.

The Doc gave me a shot in my leg and he and Mom brought me back into the room. Mom put me on a nice soft fluffy towel and she lay on the floor next to me petting me and telling me how much she loved me.

I fell asleep as she talked to me, sang my song - Your a small town dude with a big city attititude, just like Jesse James..........

WOW!!!!! Then I saw this very cool white light - it was really really bright! I just had to walk towards it.

There waiting for me was GOD! And he touched my head and said Welcome Jesse James.

HOLY CATNIP!!!!!!!! My whole body changed! My legs felt great, I felt alive, and I purred so loud I scared myself!

He led me to a Bridge and said ok Jesse - you can now cross the Rainbow Bridge - and look who's waiting for you!

I looked and my eyes almost popped out! There was Muffie & Barney the dogs who raised me! Conan, Willie, Sassy, Cinderella and Miss Ghost - my kitty sisters and brothers who I missed so much! I RAN to them - I RAN - my first time in so so long - and we all head butted and purred. The doggys licked me so much I was soaked!

Please don't be sad for me. I am now out of pain, and I had a very long very much loved life. I treasure each and every one of you my special friends and you have help me (and Mom) a lot more than any of you realise.

I will be here to look over you and when I learn how to fly I will come and visit you.
