Likes:
Lexi loves to watch "Friends" on TV. It's the only show she watches from "up close". Meaning, she'll sit right in front of the TV and try to touch the characters. She watches all the other shows from the couch :)

Pet-Peeves:
Lexi hates having to stay inside. Usually all my cats can wonder in and out of the house as they please. Both Lexi and Elvis have to stay inside until they are neutured. She hates noise too.

Favorite Toy:
Elvis, her cat. Dirty shoes, with the exciting smell of freedom!

Favorite Nap Spot:
Lexi actually loves her cat-tree. She sleeps in the hammock or on the very top.

Favorite Food:
she eats anything, but her favorite would have to be whatever I spill accidentally. It could be tomato or bread, she doesn't care, it's hers!

Skills:
Lexi can make herself very very small and thin, she can squeeze through a small gap between kitchencabinets and floor. she hides there and I'm always worried she won't make it back out.

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
My neighbours had three kittens -they also have two young children. The children wanted to keep Lexi, because obviously she's beautiful. So they started draging her around by her ears and tail since right after she was born. With 6 weeks of age, Lexi was terrified by humans. She ran and hid whenever she would see one. So the kids lost interest in her and focused all the attention on one of her siblings - those, having been ignored, didn't seem to mind the rough handeling so much. I took Lexi in, to give her a peaceful life.

Bio:
Although Lexi hated people she loved me after I finger-fed her some whipped-cream. Two days after she came to live with me, she was already sitting on my lap and hoping for more cream. Now she comes running up to me, whenever I call her name. She still hides when someone comes to visit, but it's getting better every day. Lexi has been missing scince September 2008. We are very sad because we are sure, she will not be coming home.
