Arrival Story:
Our daughter Rhi, found Shiro outside when she was about 5 weeks old. Our cat Squeak had just run away & so we decided to keep Shiro. Shiro was a very special cat. Rhi would meow at her & she would answer. If Rhi was crying or pretending to, Shiro would race over to make sure she was ok.

Bio:
Shiro got sick very suddenly & without any warning. That morning she was playing & doing fine, in the afternoon she was looking out the window & trying to steal a sandwich & that evening, she was panting, lethargic & very sick. She passed to the other side early the next morning, before we could get her to the vet.

Shiro-Po became ill last night & passed over early this morning. We have no idea what happened to her, she was fine yesterday morning & afternoon. Sometime after 3, she went into Rhi's room & went to sleep. Rhi thought she was missing & went around the house & yard meowing, which almost always gets a response from Shiro. There was none.

Rhi eventually found her in a chair in the bedroom, and thought she was just sleeping. She went back in later & Shiro was very limp, panting, heart racing & seemed to be in shock. Rhi snuggled with her, got her to drink a tiny bit of water, but she died at around 5am today. Rhi is having a very hard time with this, as am I, so please keep us in your thoughts.
