Arrival Story:
I rescued him from a pet store in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It was a week since I had to put my first cat Tiger to sleep, and I was desperate for another orange male kitten. Tyler just about fit the bill then (at about 9-10 weeks), but has since now totally fit the bill! If I had the money to clone him, I would. He's since a joy!!

Bio:
One of the things Tyler and I like to do is play Mr. Sleevie! I will pull the sleeve down off my shirt to cover my hand. Tyler will grab for it and literally hold on for dear life between my thumb and first finger. When he's really playful, he will roll onto his back, sleeve still in his month and then he will kick with his back paws.

Tyler's Passing

Hello everyone, this is RJ Tyler's mom. I am sadly reporting that Tyler had to be put to sleep last night (Thursday, June 21, 2007) due to renal failure. He had been lethargic since last Saturday. And by mid week, he had stopped eating. Two days before he passed, he stopped drinking his water (even sips). His kidneys were an unsavable mess. I blame this on the Nutro Max cat food he ate from 1996 to 2003. He also had two bladder stone operations and had his kidneys not failed him, was due for a third. He never ate people food. He always had his yearly exams and shots. He was well cared for and loved. I know he would want me to thank you all for the time you spent with him via this page. Much appreciated!

Sad Anniversary

Today is ten years since my "brother" (in arms Tiger) passed. Can't believe it's been a decade! It's means my ten year "birthday" is just around the corner. Got to remember when "Mom" gets home from work tonight to give her an extra hug!
