I'm adopted! I went to my new home last night with my buddy, Mr. B.B. King. I'll tell you, we're both still really scared and probably will be for awhile. But my foster mom says that we have a wonderful new home and family and that pretty soon we're going to be having the time of our lives. I hope she's right!
I miss my foster mommy and I miss Lucy, too. She was my best play mate and wrestling buddy. Plus she'd lick my head and cuddle me sometimes. I miss getting in bed with my foster mom and getting cuddles and kisses and I'm pretty sure she misses that too. But she said that one day soon, she knows of a little girl who is going to be delighted to have me crawl in bed with her and give her all my cuddles and kisses. Getting a new home is really hard in the beginning! I was pretty scared when I came into my foster mom's house, but I got used to it pretty fast. At least I have my buddy, B.B. and my blanket and toys from my old house...they smell like me and the other kitties, even a little like the dog and my first mommy (Ginger's gonna cry!!!) (mommy is going to cry too!!!). And my foster mom said she's going to come and visit us soon. She'd better!
I know I'll be happy as soon as I get over being scared :o) I have a new dog brother, Bo, he's an Australian Shepherd. I like dogs pretty well. I have a big two legged brother named Tyler and a two legged sister named Oliva. She's a little person, but she doesn't move fast or make loud noises so I'm sure I'll be OK with her. My new mom, Kelle, is very nice and I think she loves us already. She being very kind and patient with us. I want to get over being scared so she can hold me and kiss me!
I'll let you all know how it's going! Wish me luck and to not be so scared.

I’ve had the best weekend! Friday while mom was at work and I was in her room by myself, one of the big kitties head-butted the door open, and I got out into what mom calls General Population, Gen Pop for short. I was a little nervous and kept running back up to my room. Now mom lets me out with the big cats part of the day every day. She said soon I might be able to stay out all day long!!! Lucy doesn’t hiss at me at all when I’m down stairs. Only Jack still hisses and growls at me – even tries to smack me sometimes – but I think he’s about to get over that. Sweet old Buster just looked at me like “Huh??? Where the heck did you come from????” I have been having so much fun checking out everything and I’ve even been eating my dinner with the big cats!
Oh, mom started giving me raw meat a few days ago. Man, is that stuff GOOD!! She doesn’t even have to mix it with canned food like she does for the big cats. Mom said she thought some raw chicken might make my tummy feel better and help with my diarrhea. Between that and the Albon, something is doing the trick because mom said I had nice, solid poopies and she was very happy. Let me tell you, I’m very happy too! My tummy feels so much better. I really like that Albon stuff, and even though mom says it’s medicine, I’m pretty sure it’s really a treat. I hold the syringe when she gives it to me because I want to make sure she’s not going to take it away before I have a chance to eat all of it!
Overall, I am a happy little guy! Life just keeps getting better and better every day.

Well what can I say? Mom and me keep trying to wear Lucy down by making her spend time in the room with me every day. We think it's working because she's not growling and hissing as much. She's even licked my head and my butt a few times, which I especially liked (the head licks more than butt licks!). If I don't look directly at her, she seems to do better. We've even played a little bit by chasing the fuzzy mice and we played with the turbo scratcher a little bit. But she's moody, like most women, and even though we played really good yesterday, she growled at me this morning :o( I just ingored her and kept playing. I think that soon she'll be my big sister :o) Mom says that by next week she thinks we'll be good buddies.
I started taking Albon this morning for my diarrhea. I thought it tasted really GOOD!!! I hope it works...I've got my paws crossed.
