Becoming myself

October 22nd 2005 11:27 am   [link to this entry]

I'm not going to write journal entries using Emma's voice, because I don't know exactly what she would want said in a journal entry. I'll use their kitty diaries to write down important thoughts and memories that I would like to remember.
When I first brought Emma home, she was easily frightened and very timid. She only weighed a pound, next to her tank brother who weighed 1.5. Now they both weigh 1.5, but she still seems like the little sissy.
She's really coming out of her shell.
She is the most vocal, most purriest cat I've ever had. As I write this, she and Thomas just emerged out from under my bed. Both are now standing on me, meowing, purring, and nursing my shirt ( an activity they both take part in now). If Emma wants something, she goes for it. She has crazy little kitty adventures often, and eats like a pig.
