Arrival Story: My mom and I were devastated after our beloved Kip died, and the house was very lonely and sad. I was going to get a Devon Rex cat, but after visiting the Denver Cat Care Society, I wanted to get a kitty that really needed somebody. We were already looking at two cats at the shelter, but then we met these two at a friends house. I picked Thomas, and my mom picked his sister, Emma. We brought them home the same day, and I think they're very happy here.

Bio: Thomas is a very wild, playful little boy. He's active and fiesty. He's a adorable. I love his coloring.

It would feel weird for me me to make a diary entry for my cat, since I can't really know for sure that I am speaking for him. So I'll use the diary as a way for me to rememeber special and neat things about Thomas.
Since I adopted Thomas and his sister, they're both becoming more and more fun.
Thomas loves sleeping on my head now. I pretty much always wake up with him wrapped around my head of neck like a boa, and as soon as he feels me move he purrs into my ear.
He figures out the kitty scratchy box the day before yesterday, and taught Emma how to do it yesterday. What a good smart boy.
The longer he lives with us, the more he 'nurses' on stuff. He didn't nurse on things at all when I got him, and his mother had already stopped nursing him. He likes to nurse on any shirt I'm wearing or any blanket he happens to be on.
He is a voracious eater. It's weird (but awesome) seeing kitties eat, since that was what Kip really struggled with in the end.
It's weird just having kitties. I do think the kittens are helping me with my grief. I know that they need us, and it's good for me to love something again. I dearly love Thomas the Tank so far.
