Arrival Story:
Cappuzino was rescued from a barn as a tiny kitten by my sister and given to me as a gift for my birthday. She is beautiful but I suspect has some brain damage...the people that had her allowed their kids to paint her whole little head with "white-out"....(you know the stuff teachers don't allow kids to sniff in schools? ) It took over a year for her to let me comfortably hold her...I could touch/stroke but she hated to be picked up or restrained ...mostly she still does....but is much better. I would have thought she was not friendly except that she follows me everywhere wanting to be with me....as a kitten she did liked to rub against me (as long as I didn't try to hold her)...when I stroked her she'd purred and would even lay on her back.....but then, she would bite ..(not attack bite)... .to correct that at firt bite I'd just walk away and leave her... over a very long time she has stopped the biting. (by the way, the bites were never vicious or hard)...she has taken a lot of time and patience and is not the perfect cat ..... most people don't like her because she doesn't like most people.....She is very hard to describe as a cat...I truly suspect brain damage...and not in jest....she is sweet without a mean streak in her.....simple minded for a cat.....although not friendly, neither is she timid, arrogant or stand-offish.....she buries her food when she has had her fill...by going around the bowl and trying to cover the food with the hardwood floor making many many circles, pawing....at the edge where the bowl is up against the cabinet she reaches up on the sides of the cabinet trying to scratch it also over the food...she is very thorough (yes she is declawed) she loves to sit on my lap but still is not happy for me to carry her around. ...she loves the dogs and they tolerate her....She is a puzzle but has come a very long way.

Bio:
I think that Cappuzino's outstanding and best feature is that she has a perpetual "kitten-type" face....with long white whiskers. She is beautiful and very sweet.
