Arrival Story:
This sweet girl belonged to my parents. When my father passed away in February 2002, no one else in the family would take her, so of course she came here with us, and is a daily living memory of my beloved father. My mother has Alzheimer's and was not capable of caring for the cat, who was called KiKi in her former life.

Bio:
She is the only one of our cats who is declawed -- done by my parents against our wishes. She grew up and spent her first 8 or 9 years with them, but was an only cat. My parents treated her well, but she was not the center of their lives, as our furred ones are, and she took quite a while to adjust to our home. She still does not like all the other cats, but her personality has blossomed and I view her as a gift.
