Keeping people company while they are using the restroom. Sometimes he will want you to pet him outside of the bathroom walls, but you can surely count on him following you in there and practically DEMANDING you scratch his head.

When someone tries to get him out of the laundry basket. Those aren't for laundry! They're for Pooks to sleep in! I don't know what we were thinking.

The dining room chair or the back of the couch. Although lately he has taken a new liking to the top of the television in the bedroom. I think this is so the GERMAN SHEPHERD can't reach him.

He can make human-like expressions on his face, and he has the ability to purr louder than any other cat!

Arrival Story:
I was sad because I had found out that I might have to move to the other side of the country, and thought a new addition to my lil' kitty family might help cheer me up and make the move more pleasant. I went to the SPCA and began scanning the cats. Kirby was a night drop off and they had named him "No Tail." I took him into the get-to-know-you room and the first thing he did was jump on my knee, and then began to purr!

Bio:
On his first vet visit, he was purring so loud that the vet was never able to hear his heart beat!! Even the typical things she tried that will normally stop a cat from purring (i.e. turning on water) did not make him stop! He was also the cutest lil' thing and the vet called every employee working there into the room to see how cute he was!
