Arrival Story:
He was a rescue cat from a local feral society. He was adopted by a little girl and her grandfather but after a week, the grandfather decided he really didn't want a cat. So Murphy went on the adoption circuit once again. He tried so hard to get people to notice him by meowing, that he actually lost his voice! He stayed with a fellow teacher in my school until December when I convinced my husband that Mack (also on this site!) needed a baby brother. He's lived with us since Christmas and it's like he's been here forever. He's recently started meowing again, but it's very weak and scratchy still. The vet thinks he may have done some permanent damage to his vocal chords. So I guess he's always going to sound like he has laryngitis.

Bio:
We think Murphy was abused by his previous owner because he is SO nervous around new people (we've had him since December and he just now allows my parents to touch him when they come to visit).

Happy Birtday Big Brudder!

Today is my brudder Mack's birthday. He's 3! Mommy said she's going to get us both a special treat because my birthday was earlier this month. Mack thinks that we're going to get some wet food from the vet. I'm keeping my toes crossed. It is so yummy. Mommy stopped getting it for us because we were getting fat!

I'm going to go take a nap! Nite Nite!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

Wow! I'm already 2!!!! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I'm so happy with my Mommy and Daddy that everyday feels like my birthday. I'm so glad that Mommy talked Daddy into letting me come live with them. Even though I was happy at my foster home, it feels so great having a forever home.

Yesterday, I was given extra hugs and pets for my birthday and Mommy promised me a special treat this weekend. She's been so busy at her school. Her students have to take something called an SOL and she's really nervous. But, she said that she loves me very much and sang me Happy Birthday.


Well, that's all for now. My brother, Mack, wants to play. Oh yeah...you have to go to his page and check out his new haircut. I couldn't stop laughing when he came home on Monday. I'm so glad I don't have long hair!
