Abby came up missing around halloween. The first couple days I wasn't to worried, she has a habit of leaving for 2 to 3 days at a time, about the 4th day we looked every where, called animal shelters, did every thing we could. no Abby. so we thought someone finally caught her and kept her. ( everyone always makes commints they want her) so we gave up. a month and a half later about midnight the dogs started to go nuts, then I heard it the meow, I opened the door and there was miss abby. She was soo fat and sooo happy to be home she had to cuddle with me for a hour! something she never did before.. we found out later she was living in the park almost a mile away, people around the park would leave food out 4 her.. now Abby will not go far when she go's outside and will not stay out for very long..
I know I should not let her out belive me she was suppsoe to be a indoor cat, but this cat is so bent on going out she acually got the grate off the heating duck and crawled through the heating vent to the cellar and found a hole where the old cellar door was and out she went. we are just so glad she home.
