Arrival Story:
We picked Pepper up from the SPCA as a little baby black and white kitten. She was even weened too early and suckled on Sharla's belly for a few weeks. Awww!

Bio:
Pepper is a fairly affectionate cat - but only to the people she knows, and regularly sees! I've heard that she can be a bit of a brat (hissing and swatting) when our neighbor comes over to feed our cats when we are on holidays! She also needs to have her voice heard and ALWAYS has something to say. ME-OW! She can be quite ornery, but loves it when you brush her and that can "calm her down"! If you even go near the drawer her brush is kept in she will meow constantly! But beware when you brush her! She may not want you to stop! : ) Pepper used to sneak off the deck by jumping over the baby gate. But, *knock wood* we think she has gotten either smarter (and has realized that if she doesn't escape she can go outside) or too fat (to jump over the gate) Now it seems to have rubbed off on her "sister" Sharla! Pepper has now gotten into the habit of sneaking into my room to MEOW, MEOW, MEOW, MEOW, constantly, until I wake up! Who says I need an alarm clock??!!
