Arrival Story:
I had a pretty rough life until I came to live with my current people. A few years ago, I ended up at an animal shelter and no one wanted to adopt me. On the day I was supposed to be euthanized, the wonderful folks at Pets and People rescued me and took me to their no-kill shelter. Little did I know that on the day I almost died, Matt and Jen's cat Benny lost his battle with feline leukemia. Fortunately for all of us, they decidd to come to Pets and People three days after Benny died. I didn't come out to see them at first - there were a lot of cats in the cat room and I was intimidated - but then I think Benny told me thet I should go home with Matt and Jen, so after they had been there almost 30 minutes and were about to leave, I came out from under some cages and let Jen hold me. Yay! They took me home! Now I have three cat siblings and three humans. I like it.
