Bringing Fiona Home

Fiona was rescued from a lady who had too many cats! She was born on Sunday 6/28/09. We picked her up on 8/2/09.

My what a cute as a bug face she has!

Night 1 Got home 9pm, Didn’t eat. Slept on couch all night. Very afraid and cried a lot.

Day 2 6:15 bottle fed 1 oz 45 min. out put in litter box and peed, ran around played. Got mad and biting b/c I wouldn’t let her up on chair. Climbs well then cries to get down. Put back in box.

10:30 bottle fed 1 ½ oz peed in litter box, ran around playing about 30 min. Doing so much better than the first day.

1:00 dry food (soaked) with milk mix, ran around playing w cat ball better attitude. Stayed out of box over an hour

5:09 again fed dry food (soaked) with milk mix, 20 min. played a little then crying and biting my feet, really biting too hard! Put back in box.

10;13pm 20 min. let her out to play, again attacking my feet.OUCH!!!!!! Lots of crying. She didn't eat anything. Box

10;23pm checked on her b/c of weird crying. She manged to find crack in box and trying to get out . Scared me to death. Fixed the box and she went too sleep after we calmed her down. Left food dish in box

Day 3 7. 16am Food dish emptied overnight.

Fed her milk mix w dry food ate 1/3 of it. Used liter box by herself even climbed up the chair played with me and then jumped off proceeding to play. Again back to attacking my feet and constant crying. Overall adjusting fairly well I think.... She remained out of the box for almost 2 hours today so far.

Fiona is a very stubborn little girl and tries to be pushy. Is learning the word "NO" .

I was thinking it may not work out and maybe try to find her a new home in two weeks. But I do see she is a quick learner and intelligent for such a young one.

Yea, I truly love her and I'll keep her!
