I love my new mom, but she does have one habit that I find annoying. She isn't very good at helping me with my diary entries! Thought I was going to write about all the stuff going on in my life, but nooooooo, isn't happening fast enough for me. Anyhow...
When we got back from the show in Raleigh (Did I tell you impressed the judges?), I was confined to mom's bedroom and bathroom. After a few days, mom started to let me out in the evening. Velvet was OK with me, but PJ and Callie weren't. Mom decided it would be better to find a way to let us see each other without being able to touch (aka attack) each other.
Mom found a roll of plastic netting used in gardens. She cut a piece 5 feet long and fitted it on her bedroom door. That allowed me to see PJ and Callie and them me but no touchy! After about 3 days, we seemed to have called a truce so mom let me out again in the evenings.
The next weekend, mom let me be out the whole weekend. On Monday, she decided not to lock me up in the bedroom while she was at work. She worried all day about what she may find when she got home, but all was cool. The only thing she found was just about every toy in the toy basket was in her bedroom with most of it under the bed! HeHe!

It has been one month since my first mom put me on a plane to met my new mom. Wow, but a lot of things have happened to me since then!
When I got to my new home, I hid under the bedroom dresser. I would come out for my new mom, but I didn't want to see the other cats in the house. My new mom told me not to worry as she would keep the others out of the bedroom under I was ready to met them.
The next week, I was put into a car along with Velvet. She is the black cat who lives at my new home and is 10 months older than me. There was also a 6 year old Tonkinese called DC in the car. We were going to a TICA cat show!
DC has the same mom as my half brother Vinny. I haven't met my brother Vinny yet. My new mom kept saying DC is such a sweet boy. Humph! I'm the kitten! Pay attention to me!
The first 2 and a half hours of the drive, I did my "pay attention to me" yowl, my very loud yowl ... constantly! This is when my new mom discovered Thais do not get hoarse. I finally gave her 5 minutes of silence, then started in again. I had quiet down pretty much once we got to Raleigh, NC. That was 10 hours after we had started the trip.
The next two days were spent either in the show hall or in a hotel room. It was all so new to me! I didn't hiss or snarl at the other cats, but I sure did growl at every single one of them. I also purred for all the judges. Most of them seemed pretty impressed with me.
I gave my new mom a break on the drive back to Ohio. I only yowled half of the way back. Now to get settled into my new home.
