Arrival Story:
Socks was a feral cat that had hung around my husband's house for years. He had gotten her fixed years ago so she wouldn't have any more kittens. When we got married, she started hanging around more (she knew a "cat person" had moved in). She would come inside, stay a week or two, leave, come back in a week or two and sleep on the pillow between us at night. We really, really miss her.
