Well I showed Mom a new trick yesterday. The only reason I call it a trick is because it tricks her into giving me more treats, lol. I'm not a dog, I have skills. So anyway, Mom had the treats out and Milo and I were being a little pushy. She looked at me and said "Pixie, Sit", so I did. There's one treat. A few minutes later she does it again, so I sit again and there we go another treat. I think she was trying to figure out if it was just a fluke or what. How dare she doubt me!!!! Of course I knew what she was telling me to do. So we did that one more time. I sit, she gives me treats. I've got her very well trained. Milo gets treats just bc supposedly he's cute, I get them bc I've got beauty and brains! Can't beat that with a bat!

In my last entry I pointed out a couple of the good things about my apartment along with the bad. Well one of those things was taken away. Mom made a big anouncement that the bathroom is now a cat free zone. So totally unfair and not my fault at all. Milo's the one who throws the litter everywhere, not me. So now we have to share the big box which isn't too big a deal since we shared the big one and the small one anyway. No more jumping in and out of the tub though :( Good news is that Mom put the mirror on the bathroom door and now I can look at my beautiful self whenever I feel like it!
Thanks to whoever voted for me. I was getting jealous, bc Milo and Mango had lots of people give them 5 paws and I only had one. But now I have 2 so it makes me feel a little better. Also, I'm very happy my diary is one of the most pawpular again. It makes me feel very proud of my writing skills. Thanks!!!

I loved our apartment when we first moved in, but it kinda sucks now. Mom worries so much that we (Milo & I) are making too much noise and that the neighbors are going to complain. She needs to relax. I mean these "neighbors" are pretty rude themselves. They let their doors slam at all hours without any consideration for anyone else. Milo & I are cats, these are people. Cats have there own rules (none!!!) and we can't help it if we are noisy when we run around. These people though are just plain rude. Plus, the ceiling and walls are really thin. I'm so sick of hearing that guy coughing downstairs and the people talking so loudly in the hallway. I wish we were back in our old house with stairs to run up and down and other people's stuff to play with. I'm a little jealous of Milo, he was never there so he can't miss it.
It's not totally bad. I still have my closet, I'm allowed in the bathroom now (Mom turned on the sink a little when I was sitting in it last night - it was refreshing!!!!), and my windows are still great to watch the world in. Maybe all the other people we don't see only hear will move out soon and then we can have the whole place to ourselves!!! Hey a cat can dream can't she?

I'm a little disappointed in my Mom and the pics she has on my site. They all make me look so lazy!!! I like to run around and chase bugs and wrestle with Milo and lots of other stuff. Not that you can tell any of that from my pictures. I'm just lounging around in all of them. There's me laying next to the mouse chase, but none of me actually playing with it. There's the pic of me in Jill's suitcase, but not of me having fun and pulling all the clothes out. One of me laying on the floor with Milo, but not one of me kicking his butt! My point is that I am an active cat when I choose to be. So my whole point, Mom, is that I need some action shots in there that show what a versatile personality I do indeed have. I do like my kitten pics though, I was adorable then and I still am now!!!

I'm sick of writing about Milo and Mango, so from now on you won't hear about them from me. I've been reading some of the other diaries that my fellow catsters have on here and there are a few things I just don't understand.
1. Why do so many of you guys talk about plotting to take over the world? - I rule my little world, I don't need anything more than that. I just don't see myself forming some sort of cat army and plotting to take over the world like Pinky & the Brain. One reason is that I just don't really like a lot of other cats all that much. I deal with the ones I have to deal with and even like a couple of them, but for the most part I just can't be bothered.

2. How come a lot of you don't like the people you live with? - My mom may be annoying, but she's the one who feeds me, gives me water, buys me stuff, and is there for me to cuddle with if and when I feel like it. Now, of course, I know she's not my actual mom. She's a person and I'm a cat, but I don't remember my cat mom and it's not like she's been taking care of me for the past 2 years. My human mom does that. So it seems only natural for me to think of her as my mom and to refer to her as Mom too.

3. How do so many of you get to play outside??? - I'd love to, but my mom thinks it's too dangerous. She got me a leash type thing and brought me outside a couple times at my old house, but she hasn't in a long time. I like my window, but I could definitely use a taste of the outside world once in a while. How do you convince them to let you out?? I'd love to know.

Well that's all for now. I'll write again soon. Bye!

I just made Mom look at our diaries and somehow Milo has written more diary entries than I have and I can't have that. So here I am. The one thing that makes me feel better is that Mom never let Mango come over here and start a diary. I don't even know what I would do if that cat came around. I just don't see eye to eye with him. I was at his house a couple times and wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. So because I politely told him to leave me alone (ok, maybe I hissed and swatted at him) I was stuck in the kitchen pretty much all by myself. I guess I just have issues with "real" male cats. Milo is a boy, but he's just a baby. My old friend Happer was a male cat too, but he was less threatening, shall we say, to a lovely female cat such as myself. That Mango on the other hand hasn't made that special trip to the vet yet and I knew what he was after. I simply wouldn't have it. My kitty mom may have liked roaming the neighborhood picking up tom cats, but it's just not my thing. The worst part was that he just wouldn't give up and that his Dad wouldn't let me get in a few good swipes at "the boy". Well it felt good to finally get that off my chest!! More soon, gotta nap now. Bye!

Mom told me the best news today! Milo has to go to the vet this weekend!!!! That means that finally, finally, finally I'll have the place to myself for a while. Hopefully, he'll be gone for a few days, but even if it's just for an hour or two it'll be great. I haven't had a minute to myself in who knows how long.
That brat needs to learn when it's time to sleep and when it's time to be awake. In my opinion, a cat such as myself should sleep about 80% of the time. Waking up to eat, use the kitty box, and get some attention. Nightime is for cuddling up with Mom while she sleeps. Milo just doesn't seem to get it. He'll sleep for a couple hours when Mom goes to bed and then runs around being a total pain the rest of the night. It's getting really old!!! I wish he would grow up already!!!!!

Hi! Mom told me that my diary is one of the "Most Pawpular" diaries here on Catster. Very cool!!! This, of course, just proves once again that I am cooler than Milo. I mean he has a diary too, but it's not like his face is on the diary page. Hahaha. Thank you to all my loyal readers!
Milo's been pretty annoying as usual. Just because I'm sleeping and he's awake doesn't mean he should be climbing on me and laying on top of me. I know Mom thinks it's cute, but come on now. I need my beauty sleep. Do you think my good looks just happen naturally. Oh ok you're right they do, but a few 2 hour naps a day do help.
It's almost my birthday. Mom's not sure exactly when it is, but she made it the middle of January since she got me at the end of February 2003 when I was about 6 or 7 weeks old. I wonder what I'll get this year???? I have a few suggestions in case Mom checks this out. So here we go: a kitty condo, a nice cushy window seat so that I don't have to sit on the table, Milo going to kitty boot camp and learning to show me the respect I deserve, some awesome wet food (it's been months MOM). Well there are just a few ideas for her or anyone else who wants to get me a present. (Pay close attention to the 3rd idea on the list) ; )
That's all for now. Bye!

Mom was so mad at me this morning. It's not my fault that Milo started chasing me at about 3:30 this morning and then just wouldn't leave me alone. I mean really, what am I supposed to do? Should I let him be a pest and just sit there letting him think he's in charge???? I didn't think so either!!!! So, of course, I chased him and wrestled with him. I have to show him that I am the boss. Besides it was fun too. But then Mom wakes up and who does she yell at?? Yup that's right - ME!!!!!! She said something about me bigging a big girl and not letting Milo brat get to me and to show some control. After the 3rd time that she woke up and did that I retreated under the bed and stayed there for a while till the brat finally calmed down. Mom wasn't thrilled with Milo either though, kept saying something about the neighbors. Of course she was nice to me before she left this morning, so I'll be nice when she gets back.

Well Christmas is over now, but I must say I did get a few good gifts. Mom came home with a bag full of stuff - balls, mice, treats, and a feather toy. The balls were good, a couple different kinds, but the rest I'll let Milo have. I can never have enough balls to play with. The best gifts though were the boxes for me to jump in, but I don't think I am going to get to keep them, oh well. Mom actually tried to get me to eat a treat the other day, I don't know what she was thinking. I've never liked treats of any kind, they just don't appeal to me. If I'm getting a treat I want it to be a real piece of chicken or fish, not some "cat treat". Now if only Mom would take that tree down. I got over my fascination with it weeks ago, but Milo is still obsessed with it!!!! My birthday is coming up soon, so hopefully Mom will get me something else cool then too!

I keep an eye on Milo when she's not here. He's not that bad actually. I mean I definitely could have gotten a worse little kitten. I play with him sometimes, but just to humor him. I mean it's not like I like it or anything. One good thing about him being here is that Mom got some new toys, bc she knew I wouldn't like him always playing with mine. The fuzzball was in the bathroom when she left for work this morning, but when she got home there he was running around the apartment. Alright I admit it I felt bad and let him out.
Ok, ok so I'm starting to think maybe the new kitten, I've been told his name is Milo, isn't all that bad. I mean he's definitely a pain - steals my food, plays with my toys, and hangs all over my Mom. I've decided to let him stay for now though. I haven't been all that nice to him yet, but I've stopped being quite so cranky at him (and at Mom too). She still plays with me and talks to me so I guess not too much as changed. There's just a whiny baby there too. Mom's been keeping him in the bathroom when she's not home and at night, but last night she let him run around bc she said I was being such a good girl. And I was, I could have batted him around while she was sleeping, but I didn't 0: ) Thank goodness she put him in the bathroom when she went to work today though, bc I don't think I could put up with him running around all day yet!!!!

I guess Mom wanted to get into the holiday spirit early this year, bc our Christmas tree went up today. There are so many shiny pretty things to knock off the tree this year!!! I think I was pretty well behaved last year, but it's just too tempting this time around. Mom was only gone for a little while today, so I only managed to knock off about 5 of the ornaments and drag them around the room. Mom came home, called me silly, and then put them back on the tree. I'm silly? She's the one who's putting them back on the tree so that I can just knock them down again. Now you tell me who's the silly one!!! This is going to be fun : )
