Unfortunately yesterday ended on a very sad note when Momma when to her computer and found out that our dear, dear furrend, *ARYEH* went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Aryeh's Meowmy has been helping him fight liver disease for a long time but it appears that our beautiful furrend may have succumbed to a blood clot(stroke). I want to thank Caster for honoring our whole family by selecting our brother. We are very humbled and grateful. Thank you also to all of our wonderful furrends on Catster who have generously bestowed gifties, praise, compliments, and support on our entire furrmily. Yesterday Meowmy and Auntie did some good deeds for some kitties at the Good Mews Cat Shelter. Good Mews is almost entirely staffed by volunteers and they depend on the volunteers to help the kitties in every capacity. It is a very clean, well-run, and organized shelter where the kitties are given a quality life of free-roaming once they have had any health issues addressed and corrected. There are bunches of cat trees, and sleeping stations, Cat videos, plenty of fresh food and water, and lots of one on one attention from the humans. Anyway, there was a young kitty there named Ruffles, who needed a ride back to the shelter from the Veterinary office where she had her spay surgery. There were many pleas asking for a volunteer to pick Ruffles up but no one was responding or available so Auntie said that she would do it even though it meant a 85 minute round trip for her. Meowmy rode along with her and they enjoyed seeing Ruffles safely back to her room at the shelter where they made sure she had fresh food and water. While they were there they talked and petted many other friendly kitties and saw on the bulletin board that one of their favorite kitties named, Alvin, had been adopted into his furrever home! They were so happy. All and all, things have been very exciting and joyous in our household the past few days and we are feeling very blessed.
