Sorry, I should have told you a couple weeks ago that I finally made it home. I came home May 2. Miss Candi brought me home that evening. It is so good to be home. "Mom" and "Dad" got us a new cat tree - it's huge. I love laying up top. "Mom" picks on me and calls me "poodle paw" from where they had to shave my paw to put the IV in. My boo-boo is pretty much healed up now. When I came home "mom" said it looked like I blew a golf ball out of my butt. She said the wound was round and deep enough for a golf ball to have come out of. That was 3 days after it first happened. It grossed "dad" out pretty bad.

"Mom" was a little worried about how much my bill was going to be but Miss Candi came up with a great idea. She knew "mom" is a web developer, so she asked "mom" about making a web site for my vet's office. "Mom" loved the idea, so she will be building the site at www.oakviewvetclinic.com - watch for it. I love to lay around "mom's" computer when she works, I just have to stay away from her chair, it has wheels that like to grab my fur!

I'm under the weather right now and will have to spend a few days at my least favorite place. I developed an abscess underneath my tail. The abscess itself wasn't discovered right away but my owner took me back to the vet 2 days after I had my annual shots. At first the vet thought it was a reaction to the FVRCP vaccine, so he gave me fluids and other meds to bring my 105 degree temperature down. I got to go home that afternoon. My owners kept a close watch on me. I didn't eat but I was drinking water and using my box. My "mom" would give me those awful pills and try to clean me up. I let her know that I sure didn't like her messing around with my tail. She did try to be very careful in that area. I even heard her mention that it looked like I had "diaper rash".

This morning my "mom" just wasn't happy, she didn't like the way I looked. I heard her call my "foster-mom" Miss Candy. Miss Candy works at that place I don't like to go to. "Mom" asked if I could ride in with her. "Mom" was very carefully picking me up and carrying me to my carrier when I made this awful sploosh sound. "Mom" thought I puked - little did she know my boo-boo burst open. Did it ever smell awful! Poor "mom" she had to clean that mess up off the family room floor - good thing it isn't carpeted.

Miss Candy told "mom" I would probably have to stay a couple days. Meeeoooooowwwwww............
