2009 Getting to Know your Pals

My good furriend Miss Mittens tagged me. Thank you Miss Mittens. Playing tag is lots of fun.

1. What is the color of your collar?

Blue with paw print's, but I don't wear it anymore because I kept trying to pull it off and mom didn't want to take chances.

2. What kind of food do you eat?

Elegant Medley Florentine chicken, turkey, and tuna flavors with sauce and garden greens wet food, and Purina One kitten, and Purina kitten chow dry.

3. What are your favorite treats?

I like the All Natural Temptation chicken flavor the most, but I also eat Natural Sensation chicken flavor.

4. Do you have a Valentine or a significant other?

No, but I wish I did.

5. Do you get table scraps?

I don't really like human food, besides Riley eats it all before I can get a chance, and that's fine with me.

6. What is your favorite toy?

Catnip toys especially the gray mouse, and any other toy, I love toys, toys and more toys.

7. When is your Birthday?

April 3, 2009

8. How many times a day do you eat?

Half a can for each meal, and treats when mommy goes to bed.

Yes, Green

I'm in the world's coolest cat show Finalist

I am furry furry happy, I'm in the climber catagory. Thank you to every kitty that has voted for me. It sure has been fun voting, but yet hard. Every kitty is furry remarkable in their photos. Just being in the finals is so special to me and my family. My Love and thoughts go out to Catster HQ for having "The World's Coolest Cat Show" and also to my furriends and all the other kitties. Catster is like family to me and for that I will forever be greatful. I am honored to be a Catster member. Thank you furriends for the wonderful zealies and pawmails.

Halloween costumephoto contest

This year was my first Halloween and I was a scarecrow cat. In one of the groups I'm in there was a Halloween costumephoto contest. There were three categories to enter photoshop, props and naturel, I found out today in the group that I won 2nd place in the photoshop category. I was so furry happy to win. I got a trophy as my prize. It was a great honor to enter the contest.
It was tough voting because everycat looked wonderful.
I had lots of fun twick-a-tweating, and with the voting everycat are winners.

To add more excitements of the day mom got us a crinkle tunnel. That's lots of fun to runs through it, and there is a whole up top where I put my head twrew it and plays peek-a-boos wif mom. *giggles. I was being a little selfish and not letting brofur Riley play, he comes near it and I would tell him no, this is mines and I didn't wants him nears it. Moms said it is for the both of us, and I have to shares and plays together wif the new toy. Pooey!

Must be a giggles day.

Just as I was beginning to help mom wif my diary, I was distracted by a neighbor kitty named (Min), the lady was taking him for a stroll on his leash, (nice lady). I didn't like that to much when I saw him, I got all hissie, and my tail got very fluffy, and my fur standing up on my back, mom says I look like something out a horror movie, I didn't think that was furry funny. Mom has been full of giggles this morning. I was sitting on mom when out of nowhere Riley comes and jumps on her to, Riley unpolitely got me off mom so he could have her all to himself and then he jumps down to pounce on me and play bites my neck warning me I can't hog mom to myself, just imagine I'm getting beat up and laughed at for wanting to be on her. Geeez.
Mom has been trying to get a video of me unlatching the screen door, by the time she gets the camera it's to late I'm already done unlatching the door. MOL.

Am I really naughty?

Today hasn't been a very good day for me. Mom says i been a naughty little boy. What happen is i saw this fly on the screen door and i climbed way up to the top of the screen to try and get the pesty fly, but the pesty thing just flew away. Mom noticed when she took me down i left tiny little holes in the screen from climbing and bewieve me she's not to happy wif me today. Mom wasn't gonna give me another chance to climb up so she shut the sliding door, but you know i was just trying to help mom so the fly wouldn't bother her, but she don't see it that way. Boys humans just don't appreciate what we try to do for them. I wonder how naughty i really am because she took a picture of me climbing up the screen.

I have a DDP Badge

I have a badge on my page from when I was DDP the week of 8/13/09.
My lovely furriend Oly made the pretty badge for me. I got a little jealous
with my brofur Riley for having badges on his page for being COTD.
Karma Kitty had posted in her diary about if anyone could make a badge for me and she was very helpful to find someone to make one. Now I have my own pretty badge. Thank you Karma.

Today was a happy day for my brofur Riley, he was CAT OF THE DAY.
I even got some prezzies because my furriends like my smile. *GIGGLES*
The reason why I am writing in my diary is because Karma Kitty has wrote in her diary about if someone would be able to make a frame for me the day of 8/13/09 for when I was DDP.
Karma Kitty took her time and kindness to let furriends know. She is
very gracious.

I am DDP Today

OMG. I can't bewieve that I am chosen as Daily Diary Pick today. I wants to Thanks You so furry, furry much Catser HQ, and Catster Gal. Thanks you dear furriends for all the special rosettes and gifts i recieved. You all made my day furry, furry special.
Moms is letting me play the Catster games today and not Riley.
I got a special treat also this morning. It sure was yummie, I wonder if moms got more of that? Well of course Riley had to have some to, I didn't think that was fair its not his special day.
I so excited I doing a Happy Pawsie Dance. Yipee, Yipee. Flipping tail excitedly.
When moms woke up this morning I was on the bed and she said good mornings to me and gave mes a kiss kiss. She didn't seem upsets like last night. I will try to be a good boy. I hope those pesty flying bugs don't come flying near the screen again.
I had a marvelous day. A special day.

I more Wiser

I kinda got moms upset tonight. She was at the computer doing other stuff and I kept climbing up the living room door screen. It was dark and I saws so many flying bugs outside. Moms had to keep getting me down from the screen door. I wasn't listening to moms and she lost her patience and shut the sliding door just enough where she thought I couldn't fit through. I jumps up on the arm of the couch (its near the door and what a perfect spot for the couch to be there) so I reached up on my hind legs and stretching my front paw through the small opening I unlatched the screen door. Moms heard the noise and she quickly got up and latched the screen door and then she slammed shut the glass door and shut the curtains. Moms was furry, furry mad at me and she told me I bad boy. Meow, but moms I getting older and much wiser, I can't help it that I a smart boy.

A Happy Day

Purrs, I had a wonderful day yesterday. I got breakfast early in the morning. (before the sun rised). I's was so hungries.
Mom bought some new treats, that was whiskerly lickin good. Its all Natural Temptations chicken flavor treats. When moms ate lunch she gave me some REAL, real chicken pieces can you bewiefs that?
I had another new flavor of dry food added also, its the fancy feast
gourmet chicken & turkey.
I have a fweeling that I will be eating more of the new dry food more than the other one. I got spoiled all day longs and it was furry, furry well deserved seeing I had to starves to death for 48 hours. *hehehe*

Rumbling Tummy

The night felt so long last night. No foods at all not even dry foods. I kept going to my place mat and sniffs, sniffs. Nofings. My tummy kept rumbling, tumbling and making all kinds of noise this morning. Mes couldn't eats because mommy says I have to go to the vets early this morning to get fixed.
The vetdr is a meany to let me goes hungry but mommy says its so I don't gets very, very sick. Even mommy heards my tummy making noises when she was holding me. She tells she loves me verys, verys much and shes sorry that I cants have no food. I still gave her my special kitty kisses and rubbing her face. Maybes me get a special treats when I can eats. I so hungries.

Update from the Vetdr. 8-8-09.

I was awake when the tech brought back to moms. It all went very well for me. I got my last set of shots and they trimmed my nails.
When I got back home I went to my food dish and would you believe still nothing. The tech told moms nothing except water till tomorrow morning. I think they are putting me on a hunger strike. With no food again I just sniffed around a little bit and went to nap on moms computer chair.

My First Pawty

Mommy told me I can go to a Tea Pawty that I been invited to. She says I becoming a big boy now. I been busy getting ready for a Tea Pawty. I am gonna be bringing some sardine cookie bites to the pawty. Their will be lots of other treats, and of course the delicious Tea. I can't wait till Saturday. *flips tail back and fourth excitedly*. It will be my first pawty that I go to. Mommy has helped me to get all dressied up for the pawty.

My FUR is Changing Color

When I was 8 weeks old I was a light cinnamin color, but now
I am getting bigger and developing more into a handsome, young fella.
Mommy noticed today that my handsome, soft, fur is starting to change to a little darker cinnamin /orange on the top of my back.
Mommy showed myself in the mirror so I could see how good looking I am becoming.
I will have the girly's chasing after me in no time. (giggles). I Love it!

An interview

I had an interview done by my sweet furfriend, Athena. She's so sweet and smart. Besides playing the games on Catster she gives of her time to do interviews with kitties that join our group. All paws to Athena!

This is Athena's closing statement.
This week's interview is with Skippy, from Van Buren, Maine. He has lots to tell us about his new home, and about his developing relationship with his brofur Riley, a kitty who we know well!

1. Do you really hop like a bunny?

Yes, but now that I'm getting bigger I don't do it no more. My legs are finally getting bigger. Mommy thought it was so funny to watch me try to run but I was hopping instead. I was trying to run too fast chasing brofur. MOL.

2. You haven't been in your furever home very long. What do you like best about it?

What I like best is the love I get from mommy. She goes out of her way to care for me. There are so many things I like about my furever home it could take a whole page to list. MOL.

3. When you went to see the vet, he said you had to take worm medicine. What is that like?

Actually it wasn't too bad. I got one dose that same day and then two weeks later I got my last dose, but shortly after mommy discovered I had more worms--she found the nasty critter on her computer desk. "How terrible that was!" *embarrassed* She called the vets and mommy described what it looked like and the dr. wrote a pREscription for the heartworms.

4. How are you getting along with your brofur Riley? And is he training you, or are you training him? *giggles*

I get along very well with brofur, but he lets me know that he is training me. When it comes to extra treats like "human food" he growls at me to back off, and that darn fuzzy ball of his, he don't let me play with that. Other than that we sleep, and play together, and we also clean each other in spots we can't get on our own.

5. Recently you rescued him--is that right? And did he appreciate it? (Note: See Skippy's page for details!)

He appreciated it very much. When he was rescued he came out and he smelled me as if to tell me thank you. I got lots of praises for telling mommy.

6. Tell us about your new toy.

Well, first before I got a new toy I didn't have a favorite toy--I just played with any toy. Mommy figured I needed a toy to claim my own. She got me a furry, gray catnip mouse. I love to bat that around across the kitchen floor and go after it and then grab it and walk away with it tightly in my mouth, but I don't growl and be greedy like brofur. MOL.

7. What do you want your life to be like when you grow up into a big kitty?

It would be nice to be the boss, but I don't see that happening. I'm a cuddle bug and luv to give kisses. I want to live a long and healthy life and to appreciate what I have.

Mine!

Mommy got me and brofur a new toy. Its a furry, gray mouse filled with catnip. I grabbed that toy away and now it has become MINE! I bring my mouse on mommy's bed while she sleeps and I plays and when she wakes up she sees I brought her a preezie.

Ice Cream Tag Game

This is my very first tag game. Its been tagged by my good friend Chai. She's so sweet and cute. I'm honored to play the tag game. Thank you Chai. I Helped Mommy

Mommy so proud of me. My brofur slipped into hall closet and mommy did'nt see him go in their. I went to get Riley's fuzzy ball and dropped it near the door. I hear brofur start to cry. Mommy did'nt hear nothing. Seems like she hard of hearing!!! I meooooows for mommy she hears me gets up and comes to check whats going on. Whats wrong? mommy asked, then mommy hear Riley and opens door theirs brofur in the closet. Bad, bad mommy shut door on brofur. Mommy picked us both up and gave us lots of kisses, mommy apologizes for whats she did and she praises me for watching over brofur.

My first visit to the Vets.

I went for my first visit to the doc. The doc told mommy I a courageous boy and I'm cute. I walked around proudly on the treatment table. I Had my first shots and did'nt even make a wimper. I weighed 1.8 lbs. The doc told mommy that I healthy except I have to take worming medicine at home once today and the again in two weeks. I got special treatment getting a manicure, (getting my nails trimmed). *giggles*. I go back in 3 weeks for more shots.

My Furever Home

I am in my furever new home. I was a little scared when I got home. I hid behind the TV stand for a few hours. Once I came out I soon discovered what a nice home I have with my mommy and my brofur. I got lots of kisses and hugs from mommy. We have our own playroom (the nursery) with lots and lots of toys to play with. My greetings from brofur Riley was quite different from mommys. I tryed playing with the toys and Riley won't let me touch his Fuzzy Ball. He growls at me when I do. Then he don't let me near his dish at all. *Good Grief* I don't want to step on his toes.

That same day I came home, Mommy got bad news about Prince (my step-brother) that his caretakers said he took off out of the house and they could'nt catch him. Mommy is in touch with the humane society and the Vets in Millington, Tennesse where Prince was living to see what can be done.
