Arrival Story:
I went to Battersea Dog's Home (they do cats too!) in London to get 2 cats. After being interviewed, being told what type cat they recommended for me and a lot of looking around in the cattery, I noticed 2 nice looking black and white older ladies. But someone had already requested to meet them, and if that person liked then, they'd probably be gone. Oh no!!! Luckily, she changed her mind, and when the member of staff opened their pen, Baby's co-habitant, Mia instantly jumped up to meet my hand, and said "Mia!". Being the more careful one of the two, Baby was sitting in the back, scared stiff. There was no way I could meet her, so i just had to take my chances. She looked very pretty though. I decided it would be a good idea for the two ladies to move in with me. I had to leave them at Battersea for a week, as they had some dental work to be done (Baby has about 3 teeth left in total now). I finally got to take them home, and Baby is still with me after 4 years, so she must have decided it's an OK place to be. She's avery special little cat, who spent her first night in my house sleeping on my back, and she's not left my side since. Sometimes I think she might be half dog..

Bio:
Baby is the soppies cat i have ever met. She is quite happy to follow me around all day, and likes to chat. When she is hungry it sound like she says "NOW!" when she talks to me. She is also very fussy about who feeds her, it used to have to be me, if he dad fed her she would come to me, complain, and I would have to shake her bowl first, and then she would eat. Luckily she loves her dad now, and this is not an issue anymore. I don't know anything about Baby's background before she moved in with me, but I assume she is related to Mia somehow, as they came together. She was also terrified of men when we first met, and does still prefer women. She has never scratched bitten anyone for as long as I have known her, and is the kindest little cat-girl I've ever met.

Hi all,
Guess what? I have a boyfriend! I never thought that would happen, as other cats scare me so much, but here I am! He's tall, dark and handsome, and he's half my age, what do you reckon, girls? Very cool! He's also very caring, and licks my head every chance he gets. I lick his too. Theehee! He's everything I've ever wanted in a man, I am completely the smitten kitten.
We don't sleep in the same bed a night, as I want to take things slow, but who knows...
Mia does not understand what I see in him, she does not like him at all. I don't understand why, but she's my friend too, so I am trying to be with her as much as I can so she does not feel left out. Charlie and I have a secure relationship, he knows that I won't leave him, even if I'm hanging on the sofa with Mia. That's what's so wonderful about Charlie, he's so understanding and easy-going. Oh, here I go again, Mia says that's all I can talk about. That's not true, but it's all I think about these days. That, and cuddles from mum & dad.
Ahh, life is good, and I'm happy. Even without my teeth.
meaow!

he was in the front room on Sunday. I was too sleepy to bother, but Mia left. In a huff. Think Charlie is quite cute, but he scares me. Wish we could be friends, as I'd like to go back to my bed outside his room. Maybe soon..

Waking up my humans

Hmpf. That boy has taken my job! Honestly! This is what happens: On week-ends when my humans are really lazy, I normally meaow outside their door for them to come out, give me a cuddle and give me my breakfast. And you know what? Yesterday morning, that stupid new cat did it instead! Not loud and proper like me, but rather pathetic and tentative. Wimp! And he scares me, so I can't really get as close to the door as I'd like in order to do my wakeing up the humans routine. I was sooo offended, how dare he! I need to sort this out, but am not 100% sure how yet. Watch this space, and I'll let you know. Mia's napping, and I can't let her to all that on her own, so have to go. Rest is inportant at my age, I need my beauty sleep. No wrinkles yet, so I know it's working! Laters! Baby.xx
