Arrival Story:
Ellie was one kitten out of a litter of five that were born to a feral mother in a foster home. One kitten was adopted out and I ended up fostering the other four. Ellie was plagued with what the vet thought was an eye infection, however it is now clear that she had Feline Herpes Virus. One of the kittens became ill and passed away from Feline Infectious Peritonitis. At that point, I held back all three remaining kittens from being adopted. Slowly, it became clear that Ellie was sick from FIP as well. She fought very hard, but lost her fight in March 2008. If Ellie had lived, we probably would have kept her too, as we had become very attached to all three kittens by then. My little angel.

Bio:
Ellie used to purr and purr and knead and knead. She used to climb up under my chin and sleep while I was watching TV. She was a wonderful little kitten~ we miss her.
