Arrival Story:
My boyfriend and I decided to adopt a cat after a kitten we had found outside had passed away. We looked through many animal shelters for quite some time but didn't find any cat that really stood out. Then we went to the Warwick Animal Shelter and we saw three little kittens, one girl and two boys. We decided on the girl. She was 5 weeks old and a gray tabby. We didn't have any names picked out, but we quickly decided on Olive on the drive home.
Bio:
Olive is a great cat. She is now 2 years old and has a younger brother and sister (both cats). She is very smart. She knows her name and she comes to us when we call her name. She can open doors and cabinets. Olive is very spoiled. She gets the most attention of our three cats because she is always around the people in the house. She loves attention and rubs against everyone until she gets her neck and head rubbed. Olive is also very temperamental. She sometimes gets very annoyed by her brother ans sister and will hiss at them if they get too close. Other times, she will be very affectionate and hold and lick them while they sleep. Olive is very funny. Sometimes we will come home to find her walking around without her collar (she knows how to take it off). Then a few days later she will decide that she wants to wear it again and will walk over to us crying with her collar in her mouth and she sits still while we put it back on. Overall, Olive is a great cat and we love her very much.
