Monida's musings
I have the meanest mom EVER!December 10th 2011 9:08 pm[ View A Comments (16) ]
Mom put up her little Christmas tree and decorated it. I LOVE the Christmas tree! Mom didn't put it up last year, but the year before that she did, and after pulling it off the stand once, I left it alone. Mom was hoping I'd leave it alone this year.
Oh, dear...maybe you need a ceramic tree like we just got... MOL, though, cute story! Cats and Christmas trees always get good tails tto tell...we have one, too...well Minko does! My Dad has a ceramic tree too he inherited from his grandmother. He put it up today before his friends came over. It's pretty and lights up but it doesn't smell like a real tree. But what if... your Mom were to hang your tree friend upside down from the ceiling. You could see it, but not engage in any of demented love for it. Wouldn't that be worse? What is it, with you ladies? Sweets has an unholy love of the Aloe plant and will try her version of "3-legged Alpine mountain climbing" in order to get her demented love on with it. ... and now you've got "tree lust" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!!! Monida NEEDS her Catmus tree mommy Monida! Bring back the Catmus tree! KRINGUS HAS SPOKEN!!! But you need your Christmas tree! What else are you supposed to lick? Ahhh Monida. Love between diff species is always so hard. The lanquage barriers are just the tip of the ice berg. Does said tree feel the same? How does tree respond to ur overtures? How Do you know tree is *pining* for you in return? I wish you luck in this ahhem, *sappy* love of yours. Fear not tho, I'm sure Santa Paws will visit you with or without the presence of Mr. Tree Poor poor Monida. I'm sorry for your lose of your beloved tree. I can't help but wonder why you loved it so much in the first place. Just the picture of my dear friend crying at the closet door is breaking my heart. Maybe next year. You must be "tree"mendously disappointed, but don't let it ruffle your "fir"....OK,so Kallie's puns were better than mine.... just good that she herself is suffering, too!!! call that "justice", monida. my mean person this year brought a BITING tree as revenge for my big love to the silk pine we had last year... humans - one can't live in peace with them. not at catmas. I'm sorry your missing your Christmas tree friend. Mommy doesn't (luckily) have that problem. I could care less about the tree. Although it's good to run behind when mom wants to pet me! I will help you! Last year AK climbed and nestled in our tree more than once and never dropped an ornament. (Sister knocked off and broke 3 getting her out) She would understand your tree "love"! Keep going Monida - ask often enough and she'll have to release the tree so you can be together again as it should be!! Purrs Toby Thank you for your support everyone! You guys crack me up! Maybe if I leave my mom a "present" she'll bring the tree back. What do you think? We don't have a tree at our house because we're Chewish. We have a menorah, and I can tell you that candles don't taste good. Kallie - love your puns, girl. I'm sorry your Mom took your tree friend away. That happened to us one year after I tried climbing to the top of it and bending the branches (it was like a 7ft tree). Soon after that, Mom and Dad switched to a real tree, which no one likes to climb or lick. However, at least we have a tree to lay under. WELL da nerve! MOL! I does all o' dat too 'n love's to munch on dat tree 'n climb my way up inside it too! Is small, but I am there! I knocked it down a few too many times, mom sez~!! But it's still there, although lopsided 'n ugly now, but mom won't take it down completely, coz her sez it's fur da kids 'n mommy love's it too! Lucky fur mommy, I only get really radical when it draws attention, so lights don't come on! Giggles. I so sowwy urs came down. We know's Sandy Paws will come to Ur home anyfur!!~ Love 'n many nudges, MALLEE 'n MILO too |
