Monida's musings
I'm in so much troubleFebruary 18th 2011 3:44 pm[ Leave A Comment | 16 people already have ]
Oh kitties, I am in the doghouse. I broke mom's brand new TV today. She's only had it for about six weeks and saved up lots of money for a long time to buy it.
Leave A Comment | 16 people already have That's the bad thing about these new TV's(besides the price). They're just too easy to knock over! I got up behind the TV the other day,but it's like 10 or more years old,a box, too heavy for a cat to knock over. All I did was knock the converter box partly off. Tell Mom that at least she got to watch the Super Bowl.... She is happy that at least football season is over with! :) We had the big box TV too, and mom's mad because she just gave it away. Otherwise, we'd just hook that puppy back up. It's indestructable. Guess we'll be watching TV online for a while. Oooooh. Wow that's bad! I'm sure your Mom still loves you. Ouchie! That sounds like something I would do, but daddy built a big thingie for our TV. It has doors on it, and mama and daddy lock it up when they are not watching so it cannot scape. You didn't mean to break the TV, Monida. Peekie and I are sure your mama knows it was an accerdent. It will be OK; maybe just lay low for a few days. Gunnarr T oh nose! I'm sure your mommy will always love you no matter what, but yeah, that's bad news. When my parents bought a new tv, they had to take the extra insurrance package stuffs just in case. They didn't trust me with it cause I'm so naughty and big. Uh oh! I'm glad you didn't get hurt! Thank catness you didn't get hurt. No protection plan for the T.V.? Maybe there is something you can do to help...Mom once said something about hanging a sign around my neck and sending me out to the corner...will look cute for chickie treats. Maybe yours could say something like 'knocked T.V. over. your contributions will be greatly appreciated.' I'm sure your Mom loves you more than that T.V. anyway. Headbonks... you sure got a big shock yourself, dear. i hate those crashing noises... and i hate to see my personnel angry with me. do you think it would help if you'd be your mommy's entertainment programme now?! she sure will value your efforts and after all it's a mommy's job to forgive... Thanks friends! Mom said she forgives me and loves me. She agrees with you guys - at least I didn't get hurt. Material things can be replaced. Eventually. Plus, now she'll have more time to play with me, right? Of course your mommy still loves your cute little self.....but OMC about the tv! you are a calico! Thats what we do, mischief! Your mommy loves you. Things can get replaced, we can't! Purrrrs, Princess I'm sure you didn't mean it. Your mommy will forgive you. I know she's glad you didn't get hurt and we are too! Hugs & Purrs, Riley Yikes! I know your Mom has forgiven you and is glad you weren't hurt. That sounds like something I would do. Is there any way she could pretend that there was something defective about the stand and it fell down and broke on it's own? So she could bring it back and get a new one? Hi Monida! Oh!oh! This is something I would do! I was also in the doghouse, I killed mom's land line wires. So now she only uses a cell phone. Was it a flat screen? Cause mom is surprised I haven't knocked over ours yet! They are extremely knock-able over, eh?! So glad your mom has forgiven you and not being hurt is more important than a TV~for sure! Love and bonks, Ollie Hi Toki! Mom thought about seeing if there was some way to get the warranty to cover it, but the stand is still very solid, so it's pretty clear what happened. :( Hi Ollie! Mom says she would recommend to your mom to find a way to attach the TV to the wall. She was surprised at how easy I tipped it over and how much damage it did to the TV. They shouldn't make those things so top heavy! |
