So what's a cat to do....

Who am I?

I've lost my identity -- my long, white, crooked whisker on my left side is missing! I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror, and IT'S GONE!! That whisker was so ME. I know we cats lose a whisker now and then (I've even lost my one white one before), but I've had this one so long that I was sure it was forever. My pawrents used it to tell Teddy and I apart. Now all my whiskers are black. Now, my Daddy might make a mistake and try to pet Teddy instead of me. THAT'S NOT FAIR!

Hmmm -- come to think of it, their not being able to tell Teddy and I apart might not be all bad. I should be able to get away with blaming Teddy for half of what I get into, shouldn't I?

We have so many black cats, we put different color collars on two of them. The tuxie girls one has a collar one doesn't. You might try that! But it is nice to say it wasn't me!
Have a great day Bobby and family.

Sasha, I fear you don't know the "real" Teddy. Do you know he hisses and growls at me? At me -- sweet little me! I would never do anything to provoke him -- not me. And did you know that he doesn't like to share? He has a bed attached to a window in Mrs. H's and My Daddy's sleeping room. He won't get off the bed and give it to me! He just doesn't want to acknowledge that I'm the Boss. But, don't worry -- my longest whisker is turning white right on cue, so there's no fooling anyone now -- Darn!

You boys need to treat each other with more respect! Just like my brofur, Peppers, needs to treat ME with more respect! I hiss & growl at Peppers to get him away from me!

And that white whisker didn't take long to return, did it? Perhaps it's for the best! MOL
