Sekhmet (In Egypt the goddess Sekhmet was also called 'Fierce Lioness'. Their god Ra created her to slaughter all who opposed him. She wasn't a mean kitty, but when I brought her home she stood her ground when the other cats were mean to her.)

Arrival Story:
My boyfriend was on a job installing a satellite for this guy who had several strayed cats hiding around his home. He told my boyfriend he was going to shoot them because he didn't want them. My boyfriend knew I would kill him If he didn't bring her home so I could try and find her a home. I took her to college with me so I could find an adopted family. My instructor said that he would take her only if I couldn't find her another home. In a later class a girl named Ashley said she would take her home so I let the kitty go with her. My gut told me not to do this. I came back from Thanksgiving break and asked Ashley how the kitten was adjusting. She said she didn't know because her boyfriend wouldn't let her keep the kitten. I was enraged because I told her to contact me if Stuart, her boyfriend, threw a tantrum about keeping her. She took Sekhmet to the Humane Society so I rushed there after school...low and behold the baby wasn't adopted. She stayed for her 3 day holding period then she was euthanised. Poor baby Sekhmet. RIP little kitty. May God Bless you with kitty balls and yarn and good food.
