indoors Arrival Story: Tidge's history is sketchy because he was abandoned in a garden, at some point before he was 6 months old. It is believed that someone deliberately left him behind when they moved. A neighbour heard him howling and took him to a rescue centre, seriously ill. Three months later, after he had been nursed back to health, he joined my family, as a friend for Simba, whose brother Jet had been killed. Bio: Tidge has been rather severely affected by his months fending for himself. He is very loving but extremely timid, small for his age and has no teeth whatsoever. His teeth and gums had been utterly ravaged by disease and kept becoming infected. So they had to be taken out, when he was only 2 years old. Initially, his lower canines were left in, as they support the jaw, but eventually they too became infected and in May 2012, when Tidge was 7, they also had to be removed. In spite of this, Tidge loves food and lives on a mostly dry diet. His bare gums are now pearly pink and healthy.
