indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: She was the only stray that Tigger didn't chase away. After bribing her with kitty treats,she stayed with us until she died unexpectedly on 9 Dec 2008. She is missed. Bio: She was named Scaredy Cat because at first she was afraid of everything. Tigger,Cali(OK,can't blame her on that one),being in the house with the door closed,etc. But that did not mean she was a coward. One Saturday I was in the kitchen & heard a commotion on the back patio. By the time I got there all I saw was a hawk flying low out of the yard with Scaredy Cat in hot pursuit. One of the box turtles that live in the back yard was on the patio & the hawk was fleeing directly away from it. When Scaredy Cat was too scared to come in the house & eat her dinner,the turtle would come & share her dinner. I can only surmise that the hawk had tried to grab her friend the turtle & Scaredy Cat said "not on my watch!". This was not a small hawk,either. It was a red-tailed hawk,of which we have many down here. So while she might have been Scaredy,she was no coward! Forums Motto: Please leave a treat in her memory.Thx!
