I have a horizontal scratching board that Dad got me at Big Lots a few months ago. It is covered with 2 different textures of carpet,& has a cylinder that spins & is covered in sisal rope. When we were still in the Old House,it was my favorite toy. I would scratch it & bite it & bunny kick it & keep my toys on top(or underneath!)of it! Oh,the fun I had with my board! Even after we moved here,I would pick up a corner of it with my mouth & drop it,making a satisfying THUMP sound! It took Dad a while to figure out where that noise was coming from! But all that is over now. I have been allowing Cali to use my scratching board. She likes to come into the bedroom after we have our dinner & get in an after dinner scratch. But tonight,she started to scratch when we heard the familiar sound of a cat about to blow chunks! By the time Dad turned his head to look,he saw a stream coming from Cali's mouth! SHE VOMITED ON MY BELOVED SCRATCHING BOARD! AFTER DINNER! ON A FULL STOMACH!!! Dad washed it off,& let it dry in the sun,but...EWWW!!!!! It doesn't even feel like it's mine any more! I feel so...VIOLATED! THIS IS THE GREATEST INJUSTICE IN THE HISTORY OF PLANET EARTH!!!

Oh Tigger, I am so sorry, but I am sure Cali did not mean to do it and I hope she is okay after her "explosion". Maybe some more time in the sunshine and airing out will help!

Oh man... I am sorry that girl barf has sullied your scratcher! Sure it can be washed away, but the memory remains.
What is up with Cali and the whole 'bodily fluid' claiming method anyway.
You have though, given me a great idea. When the girls are playing with some toy here and I come onto the scene and completely take over the toy - I can *now* claim that I'm only trying to save the toy from being defiled and needing cleaning, should either girl decide to indiscriminately barf upon it!
