Dad got laid off from his job of 16 years(he started with the company from scratch) & 24 years in construction. He said that Cali & I have to get jobs now,but I think he was joking. People say I have a good face,though,maybe I could push Morris off of the 9-Lives can! We're going to look into those "work at home on your computer" deals(probably a scam),because the job market down here is ZERO. We've heard that there are many kinds of gemstones in North Carolina,& Dad always had an eye for spotting funny-looking rocks,so maybe if worse comes to worse,we could move there & be gemstone prospectors! He threatened to put saddlebags on me & Cali & use us as pack mules. I don't know...rocks are heavy,& I'm not used to manual labor. I hope he was joking again. Anyway,as long as our little family is together,we'll be all right. Dad said that even if we have to live in a tent in the woods,we'll be with him. We're his family.

That's some serious heavy news. I suspect though that your family is rich in ways that can't be measured by money.
