Arrival Story: After losing our sweet little girl, Kashmere, I wanted to give another kitty like her a loving home so I stopped by the same Shelter where adopted her, 8 years ago. This was also a Birthday wish that I had asked for and it came true. As soon as I met Truffles, I knew that he was the one as he stole my heart immediately. I feel that when the right pet comes along, you know it and so do they. I filled out the Adoption application on a Friday (before Truffles even arrived) and on Monday morning, they called me to let me know that I was ready to Adopt. I didn't fill out any other applications although I was planning on it but there was no hurry. I did search on Petfinder here and there but nothing came about from those searches. Several days after my application approval, the lady from the Shelter called to inform me that there was a litter of 3 babies surrendered that morning. After work, Rob and I immediately took a ride over and there was little truffles and I knew that he was meant for us. He was the only Tabby in the litter so I believe that Kashmere sent him to us as her gift to me as well. This has been such a wonderful Birthday for me and what were the chances that the right baby would be coming home on my special day. This is something that Kashmere would have wanted and I know that she's looking down from Heaven with a happy smile. Truffles was chosen for adoption on May 13th, officially adopted on May 14th and will be arriving to his forever home tonight, May 15th. Only 3 days made a lifetime of happiness for our family. May my little girl, Kashmere and my little boy, Picasso rest peacefully at the Bridge and they'll always be close in my thoughts and in my heart.
Bio: I am a very happy kitten who enjoy picked up and given lots of attention. if I don't get the attention I want, I'll begin to cry knowing that my meowmy or daddy will pick me up. As soon as I met my pawrents at the Shelter, I knew then and there that I belonged with them... I was told that my families beloved Kashmere sent me to them and my family believes that as well as. Thanks fur adopting me and giving me such a wonderful life to look forward to. *7/5/09, 9/11/09~DAILY DIARY

First of all, I just want daddy to know how much we miss him while he's in Norfolk Va on business. Dad will be back home fur Thanksgiving and then returning back to Virginia late that evening since has he to be in work the following day, which he'll be away fur yet another month *wipes eyes*
Not too long ago, meowmy and I signed onto the computer and there it was telling us that I was one of today's DDP. I'm not sure if you have read my chosen diary (previous entry) but I was telling everyone all about my new Interior Decorating ideas. You see, I love to pull the toilet tissue off from the rolls of each bathroom and drag it into the other rooms. This is my little way of decorating the home fur my pawrents. I can't wait until Mr Catmas Tree is up with the purrty decorations because I may want to investigate those as well. Nevertheless, mom loves Catmas time and to have a beautiful tree up so she'll just have to deal with it if I choose to play with those hangie thingies. I do know that I have to be good, or at least try since Santa Paws will be visiting next month *chases tail*
I would like to thank Catster fur picking me today and to every kitty fur their thoughtful p-mails & comments. Sending a warm thank you to the following kitties fur their lovely giftie & rosettes: Tate & Fam (pumpkin pie giftie), N'bikay & Fam (drumstick), Pixie & Fam (truffle pie), Bubby & Fam (pilgrim hat), Angel Sammie & Fam (turkey), Karisma & Fam (pie).
PS... Check out the cute catgrats photo that Kibbles and Family sent to me. Taht is wayyyy to funny *giggles*
Well, I found a new habit and it's something that I absolutely love love love which may even classify me as an Interior Decorator! Can you guess what it is? If not, here goes... I like to tear the toilet tissue off of the rolls and drag it into the other rooms. Fur example, mom and dad each have their own bathroom so what I do is play with the toilet tissue and then drag it into the Loft area to make purrty decorations. Dad's bathroom is in the Master bedroom while mom's in in the Loft area. I then proceed to travel downstairs into the powder room and begin playing with that toilet tissue which I then drag into the foyer area. It doesn't take long before I have decorated the home. Mom has now removed the toilet tissue from the holders and places it on top of the vanity. Now when you think about it, that's not much fun fur me but who says that I can't get it anyway *giggles* All I'm trying to do is decorate the home but fur some reason, I don't think mom wants me fur hire???
I hope that every kitty is having a pawsome November and before we know it, Gobble Gobble Day will be here and you know what that means? Yup, yummies in our tummies.
Yup... you heard correctly! I went fur 6 strolls today and it was so pawsome, not to mention the beautiful weather (not too hot nor too cold). Just purr-fect. Jaspurr decided that he wanted to be the first to go strolling so mom placed him in and then I wanted to go so she put me in there with him. Believe it or not, Jaspurr never had a cat-tiude during the entire stroll until it was time fur the next kitty to go. He made a snort noise along with a growl as mom took him out. As fur me, I was NOT budging. As soon as the stroller pulled up to the front door, I laid down and that was that! Mom laughed and then put Snowmitts in with me. This was so cool because I was getting more than one stroll. Then it came to be Aspen's turn and of course, I still wasn't moving from the AT3 so I gave mom a cute look with my big golden eyes and I knew right then that I melted her heart. Snowmitts was next, followed by Cannoli, Biscotti & Monte and yup, along with you know who in each stroll. isn't it cool that I got to stroll with each of my siblings *giggles* and plan on doing it again! Mom strolled only 2 of us at once as she wanted us to have room to move around if we chose to. We even got treaties during our outdoor adventure... Hummmm, I wonder if the others noticed that I got extra rides today? I bet Jaspurr was jealous but oh well, he'll get over it.
Thanks meowmy fur making our afternoon so much fun and fur being such a pawsome mom *blows kisses*
