I am like Ethan in that I like watching the frogs in our pond. I counted 15 the other day but probably there are more. Last night I saw a baby frog- not a tadpole but a real baby frog. He was maybe an inch and a half long. We never saw many of those when we had big fish in the pond. My dad added about 30 little orange feeder comets to have some fish out there. These fishies would have been fed to whatever eats them in the pet store so he saved some lives by buying them.

My mom found a Monarch butterfly by the pond. He had a big bite out of his tail. She thought a frog probably did it. She ran in the house to get something to put him in. Our neighbor has been taking care of a Monarch with a broken wing for some time now so she was going to take it to him. Well when she went back out to catch the butterfly, it was gone. She's doubtful he could fly with his injury so she thinks maybe a frog got him after all. :(

Ethan & I are doing a little better. He doesn't hiss at me anymore. Sometimes he even sleeps pretty close but I am still in the cage while in the sunroom. It's nice though as it has 3 levels for me to run up & down. Tristan & I play a lot but then I can get carried away & put my claws in his long soft fur. He doesn't like that & walks away. Heehee

Back to my pond gazing!

Sometimes we get little tree frogs that stick themselves to our windows at night, to catch the moths...both are interesting, fur sure...

That sure sounds like it would be fun to watch frogs and count them...MOL!!! We don't get frogs here at all, wonder why!!!!

Oh, that sounds so much fun! I don't think i've ever seen a frog! Mom and Dad want to move to a warm place down south where we can watch these things! Your pawrents sound awsome...my parents do this sort of thing, too...rescue small, helpless creatures.

Ponds are fun! We have a small fish pond. Some of our feeder gold fish are about 5 years old. We even have had baby fishes. We also have frogs. We only have 3. Momma, Pappa, and a baby one. It's fun watching them. Sometimes they scare grammy...when she doesn't see them and they hops in the pond and splashes her. MOL! We even like to watch the pond bugs. Skippers.....ants.....gots to watch out for those bees...they bit! We loves the butterflies. We has lots of butterfly bushes...just full of all colors of butterflies and moths. The birdies even comes to the pond....and sometimes that snake!!!! Grammy don't care for him. Well it's to hot to go outside today so guess we won't see the fishes today. Grammy gots to go feed them ...so we will say goodbye. Have fun Kirby and family.

Pipo & Minko- thanks so much. Being a DDP today sure surprised me. MOL!

Kibbles- Our other feeder fish & koi were also getting pretty old. Then something attacked our pond last January & most likely ate them all. Every single fish was gone. :( We don't have any snakes. I would not mind seeing one of those!

Orange Ruffy- My parents do save lots of critters including myself! MOL! It gets cold here but the frogs hibernate. Maybe I could send you a few if you like? Heehee

WeBeesSiamese- Wow- I would like frogs stuck on the windows!! A real close up. We have tree frogs but they stay way out back. Very kewl for you to see them close.

Oooh, that sounds like fun Kirby. I love my sunroom too. I can see squirrels and birds from there. Congratulations in being a DDP! I am so glad you are getting along better with your sibs.
