Arrival Story:
I was searching for another rescue cat, a female in particular when I heard of a woman whose cat had a litter of kittens. She was going to take the litter to a high-kill shelter if she could not find them homes, so I decided to take a look. I went with an open mind, but I really wanted a female cat. We met in front of a Petco in the parking lot. As I peered into the box of kittens, one of the tabby and white kittens crawled out of the box, climbed up my shirt with it's little claws, and hugged me with it's two front paws wrapped around my neck. I pried it off after a couple of seconds and looked into it's scared amber eyes. I think it knew what was going to happen to it if I didn't take it. To my slight disappointment, this kitten (who later became Naythan) was male. But I knew I had to take him home. I would have taken all of the kittens if I could, but I could only take one. I'll never forget the look in Naythan's eyes. That grateful, thankful look he gave me as I loaded him up into the crate. Even though he was so young he just knew. Now he has a home, a place where he can stay forever and ever, knowing he will always be loved and cared for.

Bio:
Naythan is a "moggie" a mixed breed cat. He was just another kitten from an "oops" litter from another irresponsible person who didn't spay their cat. He would have ended up in a high-kill shelter if I hadn't come along and rescued him. Who knows what would have happened there. He could have been adopted, or he could have just been another dead body in a black trash bag. Who knows. But I saved him. And he knows that. I know that. If I can even make the difference in the life of one cat, it makes every effort towards that cause just so, so worth it. Naythan is a playful guy, a ladies man. He's a sweetheart. He just wants to be with you and cuddle. He doesn't want to cause trouble. I can't wait to spend many happy years with this sweet boy!

She mite nat be feelin too good.
She's got a lump on her tummy.

It's up to us boyz. Me and daddy- to take care of her and mommy. Her and mommy be stickin together like peanut butter and jelly. Mommy is going to take Natasha to da vet soon though... tomorrow mayybe, but boy is mommy finding out some bad info on mammary tumors. Shes scared and crying a bit but Natasha sez it's okay and is licking up her tears.
