Likes: I LOVE attention!!! I am very vocal and I have to voice my opinion ALL the time. I also love my family!
Pet-Peeves: I HATE MY BROFUR, HARLEY. The feeling is mutual too. I don't like going in my crate for "time out!"
Favorite Toy: I like laser pointers, string, balls, chasing my kitty sisters, and catnip. OH BOY.....I LOVE CATNIP!!!!!!
Favorite Nap Spot: I like to sleep underneath the cat tree, in my crate, on the bed....just about anywhere that is real comfy!
Favorite Food: I like canned food, treats, human food and my dry food if I don't get the other food first!
Skills: I have a skill of talking too much. I am always talking. I have to voice my opinion about effurything.....whether I am asked for it or not! I have catnip radar. I can find catnip anywhere. I can jump really high. Meowmy says I have springs in my legs.

Arrival Story: I was found in January when it was really cold out. I was a stray but at one time I belonged to someone because I was neutered. No one will ever know for sure whether I got out or if I was dumped. I was very hungry and had a heavy fur coat. I was a real fuzzy guy.
Bio: I was supposed to be a barn cat but I craved attention that I didn't always get being outside. I would go outside and climb on the barn roof...and I had a hard time getting off the roof once I was on there. I felt totally lost outside. Meowmy decided that she would bring me in the house. I was warm and somewhat happy. I wanted to be the only kitty and that was kind of a problem because there were 5 other kitties inside.
After I was inside a while, I decided I wanted to be outside and I was always darting out the door when my humans would open the door for them to go out. I was real fast and liked to play games with meowmy. She would come after me and just as she would reach for me, I would run a few feet ahead of her and stop until she would reach for me again and off I'd go again. This was great fun to me. Meowmy didn't think it was so fun. I always ended up getting caught and would meow and complain until I got into the house. Next thing you knew, I was at it again. I started getting an attitude too. I was grumpy and the humans even thought I had a mental problem. I sounded like a wild kitty when I growled. My doctor even put me on a kitty form of human Prozac for a while. That really didn't do too much for me.I had to be separated from the other kitties at night, that was my "time out" from them. All of a sudden, I decided that it wasn't so bad being in the house and stopped running outside when the door was open. I started being really loveable and I decided that I liked my meowmy the best!!! I have become the "gentle giant" that everyone seems to call the Maine Coon breed. I am a love monkey and can never get enough attention. Sometimes meowmy wonders if I am the same kitty or if someone switched me with some other kitty. I have changed so much!!! That is probably a good thing, because not many people would put up with me and my attitude. I think meowmy almost gave up on me because it took me almost a year to settle down and be the kitty I am now. That may be how I became a stray kitty because of my attitude. I may have been too much for my previous owners. Who knows?? Meowmy gave me a chance (well let's say...several chances..MOL) and I'm still here!!! I am a BIG baby now! PURRRRRRRR......

MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFURRIEND, CINNAMON!
Today is my birthday/ adoption day. I am 7 years old today and today marks my 6th anniversary that I came to live with my furramily! Yep, 6 years is a long time! I am so glad that I am such a lucky kitty to have a furrever home. There has been some ups and downs that we've had but meowmy has hung in there and really given me a big chance. I am in no way an easy cat to live with and meowmy says that I have mental problems because I am beyond crazy. Actually, she says crazy isn't even the right word to describe me. It has taken A LOT of patience for meowmy to put up with me and my ways. My pawrents think that I was probably dumped by my former owner and that I didn't just run away. I am extremely demanding, I am very loud and persistant when I meow, I am very anxious and can be very grumpy. I will admit I was even on kitty prozac for a while when I first came to live here. I know what it is......really I do. I think I am a wild cat.....meow....I GROWL just like a wild cat. I guess all in all, I just like to drive meowmy crazy! MOL MOL MOL MOL

I just wanted to ask effuryone to please purr hard for my sisfur, Annie. She hasn't been feeling good the past few weeks. The doctor has done a lot of tests on her and is waiting for a thyroid test to come back. Annie is going to be going to a different vet that our regular vet referred us to for a second opinion. Our doctor has been consulting with him about Annie. Please keep her in your thoughts, hearts, purrayers and keep purring for her. She really can use it! My pawrents are very worried about Annie and are doing the best they can for her. All my brofurs & sisfurs are all posting this message in their diaries. Oh boy, did I ever get meowmy this morning! MOL I sleep in my crate at night and I prefer it this way. I get very annoyed and grumpy if I don't get to sleep in my crate. My crate is downstairs. Anyway, I started meowing before it was even light out. Meowmy ignored me. A few hours later, I started meowing again and nobody paid attention to me. Meowmy always lets me out of the crate when she gets up. Well, this morning she was wanting to sleep in. Well, I had a different plan for her! MOL MOL MOL I was tired of being ignored....I started meowing even louder. Meowmy's bedroom is upstairs so I had to get really loud to let her hear me. MOL I wasn't seeming like I was getting meowmy's attention so I started in with the meow that is meowmy's favorite (actually she HATES it)! MOL It sounds something like this "MAAROOO- MAAA-ROOO- MAAAAA-ROOOOOOO". Meowmy HATES this because I get so LOUD and it seriously sounds like I am being murdered! MOL Well, that always gets meowmy's attention. She came downstairs mumbling something and asked me what the heck was wrong with me. Well, dang it....I went on an eating binge overnight and was starving again. I wanted food and I wanted it now. Meowmy gets my food and I immediately start being quite but geez meowmy was in a bad mood after that. She told me to be quiet and if not she was going to stick me out in the garage. Oh that wouldn't bother me in the least anyway. I love to sneak out there when one of the humans is coming in or going out into the garage. It is fun to check things out in the garage! So, meowmy wasn't too happy with me this morning but atleast I got her out of bed early even if it was for a few minutes! MOL MOL MOL MOL I think I will try and do it again real soon!!!! MOL
