Quick Bio:
-mixed breed

Gotcha Date:

He loves to sleep... like a rock! In fact, we're convinced he could sleep through a tornado.

Any loud noises what so ever and not being left alone when he wants some peace and quiet.

Favorite Toy:
A toy that his previous owners had for him and his brother. A white cotton, ball on a long rope.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On his Mommy's lap or on a window sill.

Favorite Food:
Anything you may be willing to feed him under the table. Unfortunately, for him, his humans don't give in very much.

He's one of those rare cats who actually enjoys water; it doesn't bother him at all.

Arrival Story:
I found Romeo, along with his brother Gabriel, on His previous owners children were allergic, and as painful as it was for them to give them up, my daughter & I were fortunate enough to bring them home with us. Now they are a part of our family and we couldn't be happier.

Forums Motto:

Romeo Was Neutered Today

At 6:15 this morning Alexis & I headed to St. Louis to the St. Louis Pet Clinic to drop the boys off at the vet & we picked them around 3pm. They have now been neutered. Both are extremely groggy at this point so the vet said to keep them in their crate until 8pm tonight. They are in the big one so they can be together.

It was truly cute when I picked them up, Gabriel instantly meowed at me and did everything he could to get to me. Romeo just looked up at me like, "Momma, I'm so groggy; hold me". When I got them home, and put their crate in my room with the door closed (so they could get some much needed rest) they both were climbing over each other trying to get to my hand so I could pet them. I just kept saying, "Momma's boys, I love you" over & over again. When they had finally had enough they both laid down again.

So now the worst part is over and I have them back here which makes me happy. I can't believe how attached I've gotten already as I missed them being here for the short time they were gone.

For their first Mom, Lisa, just thought I'd give you an update on their weight, etc. Romeo is weighing in at 11.9lbs and Gabriel is 10 1/2lbs. The vet said they are two of the most incredible looking cats he has ever seen so I had to tell them that their mom was a stray, etc. and he was sincerely impressed :) He also mentioned he hasn't seen such a toned & healthy cat as Romeo and that Gabriel was so soft he couldn't resist petting him LOL

Too cute!

Chapter I

"Where art thou Romeo?" I'll yell across the apartment when I want to know where he's been hiding. He'll come out, stretch and allow me to love on him while he wakes up. He's the strong & silent type of the two; no question. He's also become my little buddy.

His personality reminds me of a human who would rather sit back in a nice, big, comfortable chair while wearing a cigar jacket and smoking only the best cigar available and observing everything going on around him.

I think the most fun thing in discovering his personality is his like for water. He's not afraid of it on any level whatsoever. In fact, he'll jump right up on the sink and drink it as he allows the water to run down his ear, on to his whiskers and on to his fur. I've even wiped him down and he just purred away.

I have to work with Romeo in regard to not shredding the litter box liner up when he uses his 'facilities'. I'm quite positive it's because he wants the liner to know he's in charge; no paws about it.

Romeo enjoys the window seat best. That's where you'll find him; day or night. I'm sure it has everything to do with the fact that we have a huge, old tree in front of our window that many a bird come to perch upon for rest...or perhaps he's look for his Juliet.
