Arrival Story:
5/1/09: on my day off, the office girls called and said a very thin kitty had showed up, in need of help. I met him at the vet's, and somebody probably had shot out his eye with a BB gun. He also had really bad teeth, that needed to come out, but on the bright side, he was negative for feline Leukemia and feline Aids. He had surgery right away, to remove his eye and teeth. On Saturday I picked him up, and he is such a trouper! Has been eating and purring, he is such a love bug. I plan to have him with the other 6 kitties in our 2,000 squareft enclosure, with kitty houses, when he's off the meds.

Bio:
we know nothing about him, except that he must have had a home at some point. He was fixed when we found him, and he obviously likes people. 5/8/09. Capt Jack is recuperating well, even though he has to wear the dreaded cone, so he won't scratch off his stitches. I found out today that Capt Jack's previous "so-called" owners are living at the adjacent trailer park. The manager told me he could hardly eat with his bad teeth, and was only fed the cheapest dry food, and she would give him wet sometimes. What's even worse, is that his eye was injured 3 ( THREE !!!!! ) years ago, and they just let it rot in his head without taking him to the vet. My heart breaks for all the pain and suffering this innocent kitty has gone through. Still, he has such a sweet disposition. I swear, he will not go back, but will have a forever loving place in our office.

I will have to copy and paste some of the message that Buddie has sent me. He offered Emma and me to go with his jet to his wonderful private island and spend part of our honeymoon there!!!
we are elated!! this is what Buddie wrotea couple of days ago:

"ay, Captain Jack...when you get
back from your honeymoon, if you and and Sweet Emma want the use of my Jet, please feel free...just pick a date, PMail and let me know when, I will have it cleaned and fueled and have Chef Mow-Wee awaiting your every whim..I also have a Private Island with a nice home that can be staffed within one day, full of food, and you will be right on the beachfront...you and Pretty Emma are welcome to all of this if you would like!!! You won't need to pack a thing....I will have new fresh clothes/bathing suit/flipflops/ect. awaiting you...just say when!!"

and today's message:

"Hey Captain Jack....Just got a call from Jet Central..the Jet is sparkling it is so clean....Chef Mow-Wee is already shopping for your in flight meals as you fly to the secret Island..which by the way, is all ready for the newly married couple!!!! The staff can't wait to serve you both!!
Your first night there will have you both dining around 8:00 on the beach front..a romantic table setting will await you with Pink netting all around and candles everywhere...there will be live music and the weather will be PURR-FECT.....my dresser has left Emma a NEW lovely pink floaty outfit just for that dinner with matching pumps...and has left you some white slacks with a tropical shirt! Oh you both will have such an awesome time!!!"

AND WE ARE OFF !!! THANK YOU (((( BUDDIE )))))

the Captain of her Heart

Romance has come into my life....
It is the most beautiful thing, and arrived in form of a lovely kitty.
I will not divulge her name just yet because I am a gentleman cat.
When she wants to bring it out in the open, I will not deny it, no I will happily sing her name from the roof tops, well, my office window...

we had a wonderful picnic by the catnip fields yesterday, and spent the night watching the moon and shooting stars.
Mom put a song on my page, in her honor - "The Captain of her Heart".
Got to nap now and daydream of my lovely.
