Arrival Story:
One day a friendly outdoor stray I had been feeding for a long time brought me a teeny little black puffball. He wasn't her kitten, and there was no mom cat or siblings in sight so I took him in. It was obvious he had never had contact with humans up until then but in a few days he became tame and very loving. He was such a sweet kitten. When he was old enough I set about finding him a forever home. An aquiantance wanted to adopt him right away and out of good faith I let him without a spay/neuter contract. Months go by and from what this person was telling me he was happy and being taken care of...but unfortunatley I was being mislead.
I saw a myspace bulletin by that person's roomate (who I also know) trying to find a home for a black cat his roomate left behind when he moved. To my horror..Sirius's former owner had abandoned him and litterally told his roomate to "Put him out with the old furniture". I was furious, but luckily someone cared enough about him not to toss him to the curb and I came and repossessed him.
Now that that's all in the past we are looking to the future and hoping to find an owner who will love, cherish, and take care of him forever.
