Arrival Story:
Schroeder was a shelter kitten, formerly known as "Stimpy". As an "unwanted," he was sent to a local vet school to be a "patient," where he was neutered and given his shots. Before he was sent back to the shelter to wait to (maybe) be adopted, I stepped in and brought him and another "patient", Linus, home with me. I debated about renaming him to follow the "Peanuts" theme Linus brought with him, including options of Rerun (Linus' little brother), Franklin, and Schroeder. After polling friends and seeing his personality, I knew he was Schroeder. Plus, it goes perfectly with my very German last name.
