Yep, as Zachary says, they let me get thrown under the bus. And out of nine cats in this family, none came to my rescue. On Monday night there was a round-up, carriers were stuffed with kitties, and the backseat of the car was filled with cats. It was time for a trip to the Vet.
I got out of it last year, by giving Mom a big scratch from her nose down to her lip while we were struggling to get in the carrier. So this year I was due for 2 shots plus my exam. I hated traveling in the car, I meowed the whole four blocks to the vet. I was scared to the point of panting by being on that cold table. I was nice to the doctor, because she was sweet and said I was pretty and loved my coat. So I didn't even hiss when she gave me my shots.
It was only supposed to be me and Murphy going on Monday night but Rusty has something funky going on with his eye (he will write about it in his diary). When Mom called to ask if she could bring him instead of one of us, they said we could just bring all three of us. What a circus that was! Murphy will write about her visit too.
By the way, I am now a shapely lady cat that weighs 11 lbs. My teeth are good and everything else seems just fine too. Hope I don't have to go back there till next year!

Glad you got it over with anyway! It sounds like you were a pretty good kitty under the circumstances, and you are pronounced healthy too!
Stay cute! Luv, Tink
We are so glad to hear you are doing good and you like your Vet. I like my Vet too, but really hate going in the carrier and to the Vet.
Purrs and Hugs to you all
Hee Hee! I think we were separated at birth! MOL!
Glad it went ok!
I hate riding in the car, too. Have been known to throw up from the stress! But I'm pretty good myself when I get in there with the vet. Hopefully now you won't have to go back for a long time!
