Hi Everybody. Mom said I could write to tell you all about my vet visit on Monday night. I went with Skittles and Murphy to see the Doc. She is nice and remembered me, somewhat fondly (MOL) from last year when I had pancreatitis.

Mom decided to take me because my third eyelid on my left eye was showing and was puffy and had an icky discharge coming from it. I was also throwing up about twice a day on Sunday and Monday. Not alot, but I would bring up my dry food and my appetite was a bit off too.

The vet is not quite sure what is going on. She took me in the back for an eye exam. She thinks it may be an upper respiratory infection that is causing this, I did sneeze a few times that Mom remembers. I had a bad one when I was first adopted and the vet says that the virus just stays in the system and can pop up from time to time.

She has me on an antibiotic and eye-drops and she wants to see me again next week. She is a little worried that my pancreatitis may be coming back but also thinks it just may be the infection throwing me off. My eye is looking better and I did keep food down today. My appetite is still not quite there, but Mom gave me real tuna mixed with some water and I finished my dish.

If you could spare a few small purrs for me and Murphy I would appreciate it. We certainly believe in the power of the paw and purr. Thanks!

Me, my brofurs & mama will be glad to purr fur you. I've been battling a URI and a secondary infection, and fur weeks my eyelids were inflammed. Finally I got some eyedrops and Batril, and now they are normal. I had stuff coming out of my eyes too but not anymore. Lots of purrs that your eye gets better and that you keep improving!

We are purring and praying for you all...

I also have URI and like you had it when my Mom adopted me...and I do get it from time to time...I have it right now, got stressed from the people across the street are adding on and the workers make so much noise. I run to the back of the house, so now Mom is keeping me in the back so I can rest and not be stressed...Mom says she knows anything can set me off, so maybe you are the same...something stressed you out.

We sure hope you all feel better soon...
