I am usually very ladylike, so this might be difficult to tell you....but here goes.....If I could only fart I would feel so much better!
There I said it! I should take a lesson from that beast Ivan who lives here and leaves audible ones rip right out. What a savage!
The doctor took another x-ray and my gas pockets are moving along but they are not gone yet. She is giving me meds for my stomach and keeping me on the antibiotic because she believes I may have an infection that caused the gas.
Mom is making me get a little more exercise to help things move along. She has carried me downstairs several times today so that I would climb those steps back to my room. I really don't move around that much, so that could be part of the problem.
I thank you all for your purrs, they are helping me tremendously. Mom is less nervous too. Thank you my friends.... You are wonderful and I am blessed to have you in my life!

purring for gas to pass...
Chef and clowder
I hear pizza and beer does the trick. Maybe raw broccoli. MOL!
Sweetie, please forgive us for missing your first diary. We love you! Purring things we move a long just fine.
Ladies don't fart, they toot!! But still, we're hoping you'll let it rip soon!!
I need an emoticon here that shows me ROLFing! Tink!!! MOL MOL MOL MOL. OMC that is so funny. I am a great tooter! In fact, I just did it on the bed snuggling with mom about a half an hour ago. She said I ruined the moment. What a baby! MOL. Don't worry, we'll all teach you how to "toot" like a pro and in the meantime, we'll purr up a storm for you to "TOOT TOOT" yourself to feeling better.
Purring for you!! That sounds very uncomfortable!
Maybe Chef Rooster could make you something to get you to fart!?
Come on and let one rip! You'll feel better and get to let out some stink! Hee hee!
Ahem....my dear lady, I suffer from flatulance when I'm very nervous. It has been compared, by my human male caretaker to the equivilant of mustard gas, and has caused countless remarks such as 'Smokie, what did you eat?" Or 'Oh my gosh, if they bottled that and used it to disperse disorderly crowds they would be laying where they fall'.
I can assure you that sometimes the cat of the most pristine manners sometimes has flatulance.
Our vet also suggest a good brushing for gas pockets. I have heard that sometimes our Bella may have them. It does seem to help her...and I have never known her to be flatulant at all.
