Hey we are back! The Dad & Momma moved Nana completely out last weekend. All that is left is some cleaning up & hoping someone will buy a cute little trailer reeeeaaaly fast. I do feel kinda bad for Momma, cause there is soo much stuff. EVERYWHERE. It has been easier to bring it here, then Nana goes through it, and hopefully gets rid of stuff....which is a big hopefully. It is hard to do, but there is only so much room...and Nana has to be persuaded a little bit that we do not really need 5 roaster pans, but in the meantime, there are tons of boxes to climb on! oh I love to climb & poke around in everything. Mom came downstairs to work, and there I was all the way on top crammed in the corner smiling like the Cheshire cat! We missed everyone so much on Catster, so we will be trying to catch up as much as possible! Purrs!
ps please keep your paws crossed, Mom is waiting for them to set up my annual ultrasound appointment to check my heart - and we need to keep the good news going! keep ya posted on that!

Mom says you have her complete sympathy about going through your Nana's stuff. Grandmother passed away at the age of 91 in October of last year. Mom is trying to work her way through tons of stuff that Grandmother felt was "absolutely esential" to Grandmother's survival and security (in other words a lot of junk.)
You're right, the boxes are great to climb on but Mom really would to be able to move more stuff. Mom's taking it just one day at a time (more like 15 minutes)and carting as much as she can to Uncle's. There's so much that is of absolutely no value. Mom's actually muttering about getting a dumpster so she can just toss stuff in and forget about it.
Give your parents an extra measure of love and Nana too. They're sure to need it.
Purrs for your heart check-up!
Maybe you could have a Yard Sale,& use the proceeds for Kitty Treats!
Good luck on your ultrasound. Dad has a similar problem as Tia's mom. His mom has too much stuff! She's still around but refuses to get rid of it. Dad jokes that when it's her time to go (which hopefully won't happen for a long long time) there will be one dumpster and one truck for Disabled American Veterans in the driveway (and both will have to make multiple trips).
We're happy Nana is moved in and settled. It must have been tough. Still a few covert calls to a local charity wouldn't hurt. If you're caught, tell Nana about the people out there who need help. If that doesn't work, say she can laugh at you, guilt free, if you ever do need 5 roasting pans.
