Spring has sprung

Boy is it nice out today! Spring is definatly in the air. And so is the pollen...good thing I don't have allergees. ;3
So I've been wondering, where does all that snow go?? I finally got my answer today. Apperently, when it melts, it all rolls down into the river. Add onto that the previous days short rain storm, and you get...FLOODING!!! Good thing I live on a hill.

My story.

I don't think iv'e ever told my entire story of how I came to live with my family....So why don't I tell you now?
Well....little is known about my past, and most of it is a haze to me too...I was pretty young when I was found. My family thinks I might have been dumped though, because one day I ended up in the big red barn, and no one really knows how I got there.
I lived with a family of stray barn cats for a while. There names were Mama Kitty, Sunset, Tiger, Elvis, Panther, and a few more. They were a pretty awesome group of cats! But I really wished for a human family to live with. One day, I woke up to hear someone (who ended up being my mommy!!) calling for the cats that lived in the barn with me. Most of them were born and raised there, so they were purely strays- they were trained to avoid humans. But since I had formally lived with some, I ran out, excited. Mommy saw me, and loved me at first sight. After a few weeks, she decided to take me home with her and her family...and now I live here! I have an awesome friend....er......brofur, Blue the dog, and lots of love from my humans.
And...that's my story!!

My trip to the store!

Well, since nothing interesting happened today, i'll tell you about my trip to the petstore the other day!
So, Mommy decided to take me to the PetSmart to pick out a birthday present (for my firstie, of course!) and I sat.....PATIENTLY.....in the back. Well....maybe I was a bit of a squirmer. SO, we finally got there, and Mom carried my on a leash into the store(its pet friendly). It was so facinating! First, Mom took me over the see the adoptable kitties sponcered there by the Humane Society. One of them was named Panther. He was really cute, and reminded me of one of my old farm brofurs...named Panther as well! Only this Panther was a little less fluffy.....about the same fur-length as me. Then we went over to ze cat trees- what a blast that was! Once I got to the tippy-tippy top of the highest cat tree, I saw some dogs- but they couldn't get to me. So....I might have teased them a little....but so what? After that, Mom let me pick out a few catnip toys for me and my neighboor kitty friends, Shadow and Rosa, and then we went home. It was a really interesting day....and lots of fun,too!

Heheh....SNEAK ATTACK!!

So...today, I was desperatly bored, looking for any way to entertain myself.
And what I found was the dog. *ebil kitty face* When the car pulled up in the driveway to greet me(as it does every day) I climbed up on the brick wall, right? Well, as I finally pulled myself up onto that giant wall, I noticed....It was REALLY high. I started to get a little bit nerveous-NERVEOUS-not scared.
But, to my greatest suprise, I noticed- the dog was right under the wall! Just waiting for me to jump onto him! What a soft landing. So...Mommy is just getting out of the car, when I jump down (onto the dog, or course) and....he screeches and jumps up and scared to pajeebees out of me!!! In retaliation, I hissed and told him to back off, chicken. Just to make him get out of my way, I unsheathed my claws so he could see just how sharp they were....and how dangerous I am. He ran. FAST. It was hilerious!!!

Tuna and.....Zorro?

Hmmm......mommy has been bringing up the idea of me going as "Zorro" for Halloween this year....I am a little uneasy about this. Me, Fred, having my beautiful face covored up by a mask? That just doesn't sound right now, does it? Ah well, i'll try to convince her otherwise. On a brighter note....today I got to eat a yummy can of tuna! YES!!! Mommy, me, and that smelly dog (Blue) all shared it outside(but of course, I got the most). It was a nice day for eating fish with my mommy(*sigh* and....Blue.....) because it's all cloudy and gray out and my mood was sorta down. But the fish made me happy again. =^-^=

Thoughts on today......

Hey efurryone! Today at my place has been fairley boring.....the dog has been annoying me( as usuall) and I have been lounging out in the driveway, charming everyone who passes me with my huge eyes. I accept their words and pets, and they seem to want to follow me everywhere. *sigh* Sometimes it can be hard, being loved so much....not that I have any complaints. But I WOULD like to ask for a few treats, if that is possible. My dry food does not compleatly content my stomach, and I would like something with more flavor. Thanks to anyone who reads this and understands how I feel as a pitiful, hungry little kitty. Well....hungry for something GOOD.
