Chickens! I live in a house full of chickens!
Leave A Comment | 17 people already have Hey! Who you calling a chicken? I'm right here with you. I would join them! I'm a chicken, too! I would have been right there investigating! MOL they did that to our house as well when I was alive. I was sick at the time and it made me SO much more stressed out. but mom had no say in when they could come so it had to be done. Skylar, you are the man! A great guardian of the household. Fearless drill-noise starer-downer. Me, I'd be hiding too! You're very brave, Skylar and Rusty! If it's noisy, I'd probably hide, at least for a while. They got done about 12:30 and then a little while later the siding guy came. It was a noisy day, but everyone was gone by the time it got dark so we had supper in peace. We are all a little sleepy tonight, we didn't get our catnaps today. No one is particularly nervous or stressed. If the weather holds up, it should be done by the end of the week! All 22 lbs of me squeezed down behind a bed and I would not even come out for treats. I am the biggest chicken in the house! I'd hide too - I call it being smart, not being a chicken! Hopin' it all get's DONE by da end o' da week, Sky! We don't like to hear kitties bein' freaked out by loud stuff goin' on 'n I know I'd probably not like it either, but now, Mallee she'd probably be all ofur it 'n investigatin'! I would haz done it when I wuz younger, but I freak easier now. Must be her sharp claws 'n shiney teethies! MOL! Purrs on dood! U be's a good sharp dressed man cat to protect Ur furmililes!! ROCK ON! Jez, I know. I came out to get him. I wanted him to hide with me, but he had to be macho cat man. Hmmmph! That happened at our house a couple of years ago. I was just a kitten then. Mom had to shut me in a bedroom because I went up into the attic with the workmen. One of them carried me downstairs, handed me to Mom and said I couldn't help because I wasn't licensed and bonded. Well, I am TOO licensed! And I'm bonded to Mom. So there. Glad you finally got some peace and quiet, Skylar, but it would go faster, I bet, if they let you help. Wow! I'm impressed! Skylar, you're my hero! But...there aren't really chickens at your house, are there? Chickens are kinda scary, too - all that clucking... Don't pay any attention to her - they should have named her Fearful instead! Hey - happy DDP today, bro! Happy DDP Bro. I won't say whether or not I would have hid but I say you are the Man! If you and Rusty was being curious than who was watching after my girl? I was under the bed with Skit and Maedia and Daisy. We played cards with the dust bunnies! As long as my girl was safe and not stressed. Of course she didn't call me so I figured she was alright. Thanks Ivan, Daisy and Maedia |
