Mom got to meet the new kit on the block today. The woman down the street from us who helps feed the ferals and takes them to be spayed is his Mommy. She had brought in a litter from a semi-feral cat (We believe that she is the sister to Ivan and Percy's Mom) She found homes for the kittens in the litter and took the Mom to be spayed. Well, one of the families decided that "they didn't really want a cat, they would rather a dog", so they gave him back. (I give them points for not just putting him out on the street). So our neighbor took him in. She never had a housecat before and she was very nervous, but she is doing great with him. She named him Simba and he loves to nap on her when he is not zooming around the house. He is 3 months old and has the furriest ears I have ever seen. He is orange and white and looks very similar to our Roni. She got to pet him. What a cutie pie.
Mom took over a fleece slumber ball that we have but never used and some toys. Even some kitten toys that we have outgrown. Although it was funny, Mom was digging in our toybox and was pulling stuff out and then we decided that we liked some of the things. Mom does rotate our toys, but obviously not often enough! MOL!
Mom cat went to the vet to be spayed and she is boarding her for right now, till the kitten gets adjusted to the house. It is her goal to bring the Mom-cat (Tangie) home to live with them too. She doesn't know if it will all work out but she is willing to try hard to make it work.
We purr that Tangie will stay inside and get along with her son.

We are purring for them, too. It would be wonderful if mom and son can be reunited. Every mommy was once a new mommy. Your mommy can help her if she has any questions about cats. That might make her more comfortable. Keep us posted, Skylar!
Purring it all works out!
We will purr that Tangie enjoys being inside and can live with her son! Good for your neighbor to help out these kitties!
Ahhh dat's a beautifur story Sky~!! 'n Simba will do great, 'spawcially havin' Ur great mommy right next door to halp'z guide 'em! Him sound SOOO cute! Mallee wantz to lick him furry ears~!!! MOL!~ Purrin' fur Tangie too 'n dey all live'z happilee efur after~!!! MOL!~ Got a kick outta what ya sez 'bout ur toy box! We do dat too when our mom starts diggin' 'round 'n rotatin' our stuff'z~!
Yeah, there's nothing that makes a toy more irresistible than the thought that some other cat might get to play with it.
Gosh I know Bear! All it takes is Mom putting our toys in a box and we go bananas trying to get to them. We know all about it, Mom gives our old and unliked toys to the shelter every year. Diamond really gets tore up...she's like "hey where are you going with my squeaky toy!" It took Mom three days to throw away her favorite tennis ball. Diamond kept catching her with it at the trash can. If I'm lying I'm dying. It was broken but Diamond still didn't want to let it go. MOL!
That was so nice of your neighbor lady taking Mom Cat and Son in. Purring that everybody will be happy and chances are they will.
Well, we know how wonderful and pretty Roni is!
Making more cat people is definitely where its at!
Concats to your meowmie!
